![]() ![]() Thats ok jess. Just dont call me late for dinner! ![]() Lets review, I have managed to turn this thread towards the war in Iraq, Canada, and illegal immigration! And its all Bush's fault, because he didnt make sure the mine safety program was inacted in time. If he hadnt diverted all those funds to Iraq........ ![]() ![]() |

If anyone of these men were your sons or fathers, would you agree with stoppign the rescue? Or say "ok, we understand!"?

I can't speak objectively, I know the effort that went into the rescue in Beaconsfield, brant webb is an ex local from here, and his Dad and step mum live here...we would have all gone and dug with our bare hands if it was feasible, till we had Brant out, dead or alive...like I said, I can't be objective on this subject..

there comes a time when you must accept the obvious
what if you were the family of the deceased rescuers it goes both ways as sad as it is it just is |
I understand!!!
Unequivocally!!! If it was me, I would say stop!!!! ![]() |

I was just thinking about 'line of duty'...as in the miners and their rescuers...and the parallels with soldiers...as a family member of a soldier, I know death is a strong possibility, as is any high risk job....doesn't stop the hurt, but there are parallels.
