Georgia-Style Ramen Noodles Listen up, bubba, ’cause this is how you cook it right. Take any flavor Ramen noodle you want–preferably chicken, beef, or shrimp. Cook it per the directions, but DON’T ADD IN THE PACKET OF SEASONING! Hold that aside, then strain the noodles. Heat your stove top to “High” and let it warm for three and a half minutes. Place a large size frying pan on the stove for forty-five seconds to get the pan nice an’ hot. Take three tablespoons margarine and drop it in the hot pan, then add half a teaspoon salt, half a teaspoon pepper the packet\’s seasoning and a smidgen of garlic. Drop the strained noodles into the frying pan and stir briskly, being sure to turn the noodles so that all portions are covered. Fry it up for about a minute, maybe two, then serve. |

Teriyaki Ramen with Eggs
Ingredients Two packs of Ramen noodles (Teriyaki) 1-2 eggs pepper salt one half of a small onion This may seem \”BLASPHEMOUS\” to some Ramen purists but I find that microwaving your noodles for about 3 to 4 minutes works best, depending on the microwave! Steps Cook noodles, drain and set aside. Fry 1-2 eggs, do not scramble. set them on a plate. Place noodles into skillet and mix in Ramen flavoring. (If nesscesary, occassionally add a little water– be stingy with it though! This recipe\’s end result is dry; meaning, there shouldn\’t be much/any liquid.) Put a little pepper in with the noodles (I, personally, like ALOT of it!) Place noodles wherever you want on the plate. add salt/pepper to eggs and ENJOY! I like to put my eggs on top and eat it that way. Serves two. |

Ramen Veggie Stirfry
Ingredients 1 package ramen noodles half an onion, or 1 small onion a few broccoli florets, chopped smallish about 1/4 of a carrot, shredded some garlic chili-garlic sauce (that red, seedy stuff!) Directions: Cook ramen noodles. Drain *most* of the water, leave just enough so that your ramen noodles are covered in the pan, or maybe a little less. THEN, stir in flavor packet. Let sit. Prepare a frying pan with some cooking oil. When the oil is hot, throw in the broccoli, onions, garlic, and carrots. Stirfry for a few minutes until the veggies are tender to your liking. Any other veggies work well, too. When your veggies are nearly done, turn down to medium head. Toss in the noddles from the pan (water, too!) Add the chili-garlic sauce and mix well, the water will help it to spread out. Cook for about a minute longer and most of the water will evaporate. EAT. |

Apple and Orange Ramen Salad
Ingredients 1 Package of Ramen Noodles (no seasoning packet) 2 Large Oranges 2 Large Apples (Any variety you like, although I do suggest Granny Smith.) 4 to 5 Table Spoons of Brown Sugar Open your ramen noodles and leave them out overnight to get stale. In the morning, peal and slice your oranges in to bite sized peices. Cut you apple in to equally bite sized peices. Mix both together in a large bowl. Add the brown sugar to taste and let the mixture meld together (the brown sugar and orange juice will form a kind of syrup on the bottom of the bowl and will also keep the apples from turning brown). Just before serving crush the stale ramen noodles(but not completely) and incorporate them into the apple and orange mixture. Garnish with a sprig of mint and enjoy. |

Ingredients 1 package of Knorr’s Vegetable soup mix 1 package of Ramen (I like Pork, but any flavor will do) 2 Pork chops. Grilled then cubed. 3 cups water Mix 3 cups water with Knorr\’s vegetable soup mix and ramen noodle seasoning (from ramen package); bring to boil on medium to high heat. Cook for 8 minutes (or until dehydrated vegetables seem hydrated). Reduce heat to med-low and add noodles. Cover, stirring occasionally. By now the pork chops should be on the grill. Once the noodles are tender to your liking add pork, and serve in large dish. This meal is so good I find it feeds one…. me, might get two smaller portions out of it though. |
