Mingle is your family now. pitchfork

When the adoption is finalized your legal name will be Tazzops Mingle, or more formally...Mr. Mingle.

my oldest son warned me about scammers, my youngest son has listened to countless complaints about my ex BF so he's prolly relieved I'm doing something else...lol. I have even shared some of the more bizarre convos on here with him (he's 19).

now he and his next to oldest brother know I'm online but seem to have little opinion either way. All 3 of them are super duper computer/internet savvy so I am sure it seems next to normal for them. My oldest son met his wife online & she's great.

no issues here :)
A family that plays together stays together. A family that internets together dates together?

ummmm a naughty miss cyndy, lol....I am not going to date with my sons' in tow...lmfao

I can just see it now...me & my date being escorted by the professor and the kid lolrofl rofl rofl
Yeah, that kinda came out wrong. I just meant that you and your oldest having dated the same way. tongue2

I figured you were just messin' with me! I talk to my guys about many things, but they really are not involved in my online or real life romances.

For me the worry is not my family, it's my industry. Last month I had my first problem and have been thinking I should pull my pics and make it so I'm not as recognized.

In my mind I'm battling this but they are probably right.

I don't want to stop posting cause it's home in a way, but maybe a mod is in order.

Maybe this thread is what I needed to tilt the scale cause it's been just sitting in my mind. I see you guys drop your pics and I know there must be good reason and think maybe I'm not being a whimp by doing it.....but isn't that honestly kinda hidding? And thus my battle to be free. But at what expense?
I hadn't even though about that MG. slaphead I have pictures on my profile if people want a peek at me, but am just not interested in attracting any more dating proposals at this time, so don't use a photo in my main pic. I've sent other real pics privately...yeah, not those kind of pics. whoa

LOL, I bet you did get a lot of them too. The first time I saw you here I thought "she's gonna get flooded". You've handled yourself well though.
No, I never got flooded...but I'm flattered if you thought that. blushing

Well, being around a long time, you see people come and go and sometimes there's someone who comes along who is a show stopper in my book, you being way up on that list. I think a couple of things when I see this. How long are they going to be here? and, How long before their pic comes down? I know how it was when I joined (I'm nothing special) and thought if this happens to me the women must get practically stalked.

Well let's see, my sister climbed on her broom, and flew off in a huff about 20 years ago. She's out there somewhere in the world, screwing up other people's lives. Should you have the mis-fortune to meet up with her, I apologise, and I hope you got away from her, and managed to maintain your sanity.
I have an uncle who is very upset that I got a divorce. Now he wants me to pick out the very first woman that happens to wander by, marry her, and immediately have children with this woman. Or adopt, and this child whom I am to adopt should be willing to carry my last name, so that he may carry on the family name.

Any others of concequence in my family have little say so in what I do. If they don't like me being on here, and wish me not to be, then you can just get off your fat kazoo, and go find me a lady that I can get along with.

So there! :P

Does Your Family Know You're Mingling?

Uh, no.
No way.
Nooooooooooooooooo.
They would lock me up.
So please don't tell them.
They might think it is contagious.
So, I'm not the only one with a family like that. laugh

Maybe we were separated at birth.
laugh I have a twin?

Well, if you do, the number of candles on your
next birthday cake may come as quite the surprise :-)

I DID stop a circus once! Lucky that baby elephant didn't step on me, cause it slowed down when it smelled my bag of peanuts. slaphead Most people never get that close to a baby elephant. GOOD TIMES!

They already know. Why hide it? :) I'm already aware of stranger danger, and other stuff they warned me about. But no way did I tell any of them my username, because knowing them, they'd try to spy on me. Well, only my younger sister's, but that's typical behaviour of younger sister's and younger brother's anyway. shocked laugh.
My family are so nosy, I tend to keep my dating life very private until I decide he's gonna be around a while. It gives me time to warn him before the circus comes to town. frustrated

rofl :) It reminds me of 'Everybody Loves Raymond'. Poor Ray constantly being spyed on by his family. The only peace he gets is when he's asleep. shocked. See, you get what I mean about the younger sibling thing ;) Mine are constantly throwing cushions at me, or jumping on me. I think it's because they know I'm playful.

Them: Oooh, is that your boyfriend?

Me: Why? Are you jealous?

Gotta think up clever answers around children. They love to embarrass where they can. lol

Of course, my whole family has known since the day I signed up. They've been very supportive of me and have even met some of my online friends. They are always asking what's new with this person or that.

Only two of my good friends know. And, they seem to think it is a bad idea. laugh I have met several guys inperson, so it seems to work well so far. No one from Mingle. My nephew met his wife online she is from Romania and they been married 5 years. But he went there and married her and brought her back to US.
I swore a cousin to secrecy last week. She was in town for a family event, so I showed her Mingle and got her signed up. She talked to one guy, posted a couple of lines in the forums and said it was not for her but good luck. She deactivated the next day. slaphead

Ya..it is not that good for dating unless the man lives nearby. Online contact is nothing compared to spending time inperson. Imo

I think that sounds like fun. Guess that's why I thought it would be cool to have my cousin here too. We could Mingle about Mingle if she'd stuck around. laugh
