I had a woman on another site asking me for my phone number once and when we talked on the phone she told me that her profile was fake because she didn't want stalkers. Well, fair enough maybe but she also turned out to have a boyfriend.
I'm personally not really bothered what pictures that they choose to post but I agree that this site is crawling with fakes and scammers and although it is fairly easy to spot them, there is a tendency to tar people with the same brush when it's possible that they might be for real. At the end of the day though, the burden of proof or plausibility is on them. I'm open and honest about myself and I expect the same in return or I'm not wasting my time with them. |

Why do so many people use celb pictures instead of their own when, they are planning to meet people through here?!  I mean sure they use landscape, animals and artwork as well, but those we know aren't the person...the other seems dishonest to me. I mean it does not matter if the other person doesn't recognize your borrowed face...What do you expect they will do when they actually find out you do not look like that? 
I always see the actual photo of any man that I meet inperson. And, I have met several on paid secured sites, who look like their pictures. |

In all honesty,I've been around here a little over a year. I've learned to NOT take this site that serious. Right now I'm not dating or looking to date anyone. If I were I wouldn't be here. Really, For two reasons. I don't know how it is in other parts of the world,But in mine,This site is dead as a door nail. I never see anyone within 50 to 100 miles of me sign in here. A lot haven't signed in here in months. Most,In years. I'm reasonably sure that most of them are using a more popular site. I will not name it here because I don't want to spam this site.(I like the forums here.) The other reason,Well,It's really two more. Yes,I've noticed a lot of fake pictures. I'm not just talking about the obvious fakes like the clowns and such. I'm talking about the scammers. This place,I hate to say it,But it's full of them. I get messages almost everyday from some scammer. I've been doing this for so long I can pick them out with ease.No problem. When I get ready to start dating again I doubt I will use this site for that. Not just because it's dead in my part of the world. Also because of the scammers,But mostly because so many don't take it serious enough to at least post a decent picture of themselves. I guess some may not agree with me about that. If they don't,It's OK. I guess I got use to the other sites that don't allow such as that. You either post a picture of yourself or you don't. No fakes of any kind are tolerated. It's easy to spot fake pictures if you know what to look for. if you know what to.look for then you should have no trouble finding descent enough peeps so ur problem is? Read a little closer. Maybe you will figure out what I said the problem is. |

Whatcha see is whatcha get with me.
Now, however, a friend of mine insists that is not a good photo of me. Really, I couldn't have been more pleased with that photo, only because at that moment, I was getting my photo taken with my niece, who I haddn't seen in 19 years. And I'm told that I don't look like that in real life. Ok, I'll buy that, since I'm hardly beating the women off with a stick. |

Not sure if there's one reason in particular. When people put a pic of a celebrity as their main profile pic, then sometimes it's to reflect that the celebrity is their role model. Though, yes, I also know that some just like pretending to be them. lol. I had pics of myself up, on here, in the past, but not gonna put any updated one's yet, due to a hairdressing hair dye fault :/ So when my new hair colour is put right, I'll have my new one's up. Oh goodie! Couldn't we just spray bomb it ? |

If women can have fake breasts, fake eyelashes and fake fingernails, then why can't a person have a fake user image?

Well I really take no issue with art-based pictures, like from comics...I was talking about people who use celb photos.

If it's a photo of a famous person you know, unless you are not familiar with that person...lol.

Easy fix....report those and let the site worry about them

I think it's normal for any site. Some sites don't care. Some sites take action.

I wouldn't know, I don't wear make-up or other stuff like that...and again I have no issue with clear fakes; cartoon characters, animals, artwork and etc...just when someone tries to pass a photo off as themselves when it is not. To me there is a difference.

No worries if you don't care for it move on to another profile.To me its no different than meeting someone face to face,you never really know who they are until down the road anyway.

I totally agree!!...I always appreciate it when a man lets me know me up front he's sporting pec implants, hair implants, and a pump up penile implant...Makes his "user image" seem way less important... |

Many people like me or u arnt ashamed to be who they are even though we have flows we fell proud of what we are.. BT some people desire to be someone eles so much so that they pretend to be someone eles online Instead of showing the world their true talent they like to be someone eles which is wrong Becoz it is important that a person should like u for who n what u r n Not for who u seems to be |
