Topic: How important is romance to you? | |
---|---|
Does romance happen at the beginning of a relationship and then Peter out? Or do you need it to stay alive throughout?
I find that how I start a relationship is how I mean to continue. To me, romance is an important part of connecting with my loved one. How do you rate it's importance to you? How much do you work at creating those special romantic moments? |

I think if your a romantic, romance is more a way of living. For others it's a doing thing where there's a need to keep the cup filled. But for those thinking about romance and not being a natural at it, it's kinda cute. Being a couple though and having to produce it would feel very weird for me.
there's also the 2 week hussle Passions burn for a little while then the flames die, but not sure I would call that a part of love, but more the act of beginning want. Flames can be cool, but as you are saying having the staying on course out look is more rewarding. And I find it hotter. |

I think that romance is a must in a relationship through and through to take the time to write a short poem on a paper for lunch or grab a flower company to deliver a poem is a great middle relationship tool for romance and it helps to open the doors to the long term in what seems to be a never ending devored or have childern profile searching. LOL
Romance is the basis or backbone to a sexual relationship that can open doors to new ideas and new ways of enjoying things. YES and For some can be anything from a flower to a romantic stay on the beach or out in the wilderness in a tent with only god knows what around you. Romance a tool or what make your relationship your relationship. ?? |

Life is not a Harlequin Romance novel. |

To me its just the basic law of physics,
ever action gets a re-action This is how the hole relationship will play out. She will get back what she keeps putting in If I'm in love, & she can keep putting in positive, then she will be a spoiled "little brat" as I will allways stay the coarse. And til death we shall part! This lady said to my girlfriend at the time, "Do you no how many Animals died for that lynx coat" She said "alls I know is I just had to f♥ck one Animal to get it!.... Now thats romance ...lol. |

Romance should happen at the beginning of a relationship. It is important to me to have a "Romantic" man. Most men I date are Romantics.

Repeat after me: Life is not a Harlequin Romance novel. It may not sell many books, but is the best kind of romance ever. *contented sigh* |

Peep this. She comes home from a hard day of work. She smells a wonderful aroma coming from the kitchen. She then makes her way to the kitchen and then sees how romantic I am......
I am making a pot roast, green beans, dressing and am baking a pecan pie dressed up as Grimace! She swoons and feels the love....that's right kids....she's loving it! |

It's very important, with me. I'm a very cuddly type, so that gesture alone (me hugging him) would probably be obvious enough. Or so I reckon . It was hard to know how to be, when I was with this one guy who had an urge to sleep with others while with me. I thought I wasn't showing enough love maybe, only for him to reveal it was what came with his Bipolar. I just knew something wasn't adding up. As he lacked empathy while in the hyper-sexual mood. You can't always reason with a bipolar lover, but it depends on whether you can live with them constantly leaving you and returning. Or just get a new lover who won't be so confusing. It's not that I was blaming him, I'm just not the type to take the same guy back, again and again. Will not do that. I chose not to. It was dragging me down with it. Most other lovers I had, were pretty affectionate, and respect. Luckily.

I guess you weren't actually that upset on your previous post. If that is true...You owe some people an explanation. Start with me. |

Most people are either "Romantics" are they aren't. It makes a relationship much more exciting when a man finds himself, wanting to do things for me, just because he enjoys doing them. Imo

Most people are either "Romantics" are they aren't. It makes a relationship much more exciting when a man finds himself, wanting to do things for me, just because he enjoys doing them. Imo I agree we either are our aren't. I also think there can be translation problems between those who are and those who aren't in a relationships. For instance...Since it's my nature to make romantic gestures, I know why I do it. If he does not reciprocate with little gestures, it leaves me wondering why he DOES NOT do it. Since that's just how my mind works, it's very easy to forget that it's not personal...it's just not his nature. |

It doesn't come natural to some people and then there are others that aren't really affected by romantic gestures. For me, it's about doing nice things for my loved one, similar as what Toodygirl mentions. It's about INTENT. |
