People who think like that are just afraid of having to take responsibility for themselves. It's easier to not have to think and let others do it for you. All I can say is we deserve what we get if that's gonna be our attitude, a society able to give you all you want can also take it away, so don't be surprised when it happens because it's what you asked for.

And btw we STILL have chaos you know......just saying. Actually we probably have more now than we otherwise would because everyone thinks they can dictate to everyone else what is moral and right to do or not do. Leave people alone and I bet that chaos goes away.......it creates needless division and hate for no reason other than someone is different. Yeah.....some order we have.......

I think some people just will never be happy and would never stop finding things to complain about,,,

because it would be impossible to get 300 million people to all agree about what is 'harmful' and what is not,, for one,,,

littering is an example, If I toos a piece of my apple on the ground, it isnt really doing 'harm', by itself

but now tell 300 million people they are all EQUALLY free to do the same, and see how quickly it causes HARM to out living environment


'harm' is not always the immediate and physical kind, when we are talking about hundreds of millions of people trying to be a SOCIETY,,,,


my immature children say they didnt 'hurt' anybody when they lied, that doesnt mean that it was any less wrong or should have been any less intolerable for them to do it though,,,,

people have different views of what is harmful,

adulterers dont often feel like they are doing 'harm', but that doesnt mean it should be tolerated,,,,

there is preventive actions we take as a society to try to maintain the type of society we want to live in,,,,there is also reactionary enforcement we take to punish those who do 'harm'

but simply stating 'do no harm' is far too simplistic as an actual PLAN for society or maintaining a society

its like saying 'be healthy',,,,its admirable, but too simplistic to be an actual solitary rule to live by,,,

and because nothing in life is 'free',, esepcially freedom and safety and health,,, we operate in a SOCIETY where our environmen tis largely funded by taxes,, our protection is funded by taxes,,,,we are very intertwined with each other because of what we contribute of OUR MONEY to maintain the type of society we have

and so as a society, as INVESTORS in certain areas of life as a SOCIETY, we have to have some way to decide which things the society will fund or not fund and how those things will be maintained,,,,


simply 'do no harm' might work in a cage with five or six people, it is more complicated in a society with hundreds of millions of individuals,,,
