Do you think TRUE PASSION is really so rare?

Have you experienced it?

What does true passion in a relationship mean to you?

Do you need true passion it in your relationship?

I don´t think is really rare. I think is more a thing of fear and settling. Fear because some people can get scared of such intense feelings and being completely vulnerable to that person. And settling because some people prefer just to resign themselves to whatever is the safest choice for them, what could hurt less.

Yeah, I have. And not only in relationships, I´ve felt it in my work, with my friends, family.

Being one in every sense, way or form with that person. Not two souls trying to get together, two souls being a new one, the perfect combination of both. The ideal partnership, equals for life.

Yeap, I could only be truly myself if I can give my all to him. And you just know when he is being truly his passionate self too.

Someone told you the truth.

True passion in my opinion is as rare as true genius. They both are born in obscurity and tend to be relevant only to those whom they effect. Only afterwards do people take notice and wonder what it was and where it came from.

True passion is not being with another person for any length or span of time, but in releasing them and all their beauty and wonder both to marvel upon and drown within. It is about sharing oneself completely and receiving their undivided soul in return.

It is not "I love you", but "I am part of you".
It is hunger for the embrace and not the climax.
It is making the sweat on the skin the wine on the tongue.
It is an explosion of the being and not the body

It is unending, unbelievable, unthinkable and unimaginable and when all is done... inescapable.

Long after the breath is calm, the nerves are still and the body has composed itself, the intensity remains on a level neither can flee nor realistically want to.

Passion is a well-written love and almost as rare as a well-spent one.

My opinion of it at least.

Nice response Kitty!

Everyone loves passion in every other aspect of their lives, but I think you're right that some are frightened of it in a relationship. There is no such thing as half hearted, reserved or guarded passion...not TRUE PASSION. happy

Someone once told me people will either chose the sensible match or the exciting one. But either way, most people will never have TRUE PASSION in their relationship.

Do you think TRUE PASSION is really so rare?

Well since so many people seem to be seeking passion it makes me wonder if it really is rare but my experience is it is not rare if one or both parties make an effort to create it.

Have you experienced it?

Yes

What does true passion in a relationship mean to you?

To me is is not the flash in the pan you feel surge at the first attraction but that deep simmering boil that takes some tThat ime to get to but warms you from the inside out. That feeling that hangs around in your gut when they are not even there.

Do you need true passion it in your relationship?

Yes. I think once you have felt it the feeling is kind of addictive. You can't settle for immitations and you really miss it if something ends it.

I agree, but you get a lot of stares for expressing it to a popcorn maker.

What? I really love popcorn. Geez!

True passion does exist, but you won't experience it if all you do is live to satisfy your fleshly desires.

TRUE PASSION is really not that rare. I have experience it more than once. If a person never experiencs it, they are truly missing out on a good thing.

True Passion is, when I become One, with a man, in every since of the word One. It maybe hard, for those to understand, who has never experienced such a thing.

I need true passion in a relationship.

This is such drivel passion derives from lust, it results from a chemical reaction in the brain that increases endorphin's, stimulating
the pleasure center of the brain, this is by no means true love, it' more like an addiction, only women would believe this fairy tale nonsense

So, you are bashing what women believe.
Or are you complaining about the grapes being sour?

Just stating infatuation can seem like real love, as I already stated passion comes and passion goes real sustaining love can only occur over time, I have seen so many women make so many wrong choices in their lives, by letting their emotions get the better of them, love is a pure emotion that not necessarily has to derive from passion or as I refer to it infatuation, all this soul mate stuff or love at first site is an illusion I have been a victim myself of these emotions, maybe one should ask their selves shouldn't love be uplifting and empower us, I do agree in the first stages of being in love with someone starts with passion, then also there are many forms of passion, but I believe what the op was referring to the type of passion that makes you always want to be around another person, any of us that have been in LTR know that this fades and is replaced with something deeper and more meaningful why is you think marriages and relationships lasted longer years ago, are elders already knew this, maybe they were a bit wiser then us, and I have no sour grapes, for I have felt passion in my lifetime, one so intense it almost destroyed me so yeah that mind numbing sick in the pit of my stomach, always aching for the other person, I know it well, you can have it I don't want it.

True passion for both person being inlove are rare. We can give that passion for someone special or something that interests you the most. I believe that we all have that "true passion". A love not driven by lust.
I didn't experienced it from a person.

I find it interesting that someone who has never been married will deny the existence of true passion, while a widower like me (who was happily married until his wife died) knows from experience that true passion exists. It is kind of like a person born blind denying the existence of color.

I think my friend is right that true passion in a relationship is rare, but I think it's because while everyone can have passion for another person, it's seldom that we meet up with a person who has the same passion for us. I think that's what true passion in a relationship is about two people on the same...have to say it...passion page. laugh (sounds like something in a dirty book don't it?) laugh

I haven't had it yet myself, so can’t truly know, but I believe when two people have similar passion for one another...it makes it more likely they will be able to keep some passion in their marriage longer...maybe forever. So...two passions are better than one?
