We all know that we came from different countries and have different languages. I want to teach you our language which is tagalog. I am going to translate from english-tagalog. If ever you want to share, you are very welcome. I am open to questions. Enjoy! I hope you like it and hope no one did this before or if ever there was this will be the revision. Hehe. ^-^
How are you? - Kumusta/kamusta ka? |

Learning a language is cool but I tend to want to learn about cultures first and learn parts of the language while learning the culture. Maybe you can tell a little about the country you live in.

This is just like Latin all over again. I may learn to read and write these words, but I'll mispronounce every one of them if I try to say them.

A friend of mine in the Philippines would always write me letters in Tagalog because she knew it was a hard language to find a good online translator for haha

Oh when it comes to learning a language, I have to use it a lot in order to retain it. I may end up remember a word or two from this but right now it is fun to do. I am surprise that google translator doesn’t have Tagalog in it. This thread was the first I heard of it.

Silent/quiet - tahimik[ta-hee-mik]
Talkative- maingay[ma-ee-ngay] Hard/difficult- mahirap[ma-hee-rap] Delicious- masarap[ma-sa-rap] |
I am very mahirap.

I am very mahirap. Oh wait the hard/ difficult there is based on the mind concept. Sorry for not giving specifics. This is base in your stand in the community. Wealthy/rich- mayaman [ma-ya-man] Average wealth- maykaya[ma-ay-kaya] Poor- mahirap[ma-hee-rap] |
Then language arts was a mahirap subject for me in school.
If I get with some one about anime then I can be maingay. Right now I am mahirap but working and saving towards maykay. |
