You should make sure that you really want one, once it's there, takes a lot to have it taken off. I LOVE mine....

one thing make sure u want to do this. like stated above it takes alot of $$$$$ to get it removed.
two: dont get any ones name on ur body unless its a family member alot of people do that and ended up breaking up with thier gf/bf and wives and husbands as well lol.
its up to u want you want on you. rember u are going to have this for life. dont let anyone tell you should get this or that.

You are awfully young. So, if you really want a tattoo, put it in a place where it is not going to very visible such as your shoulder blade, back, or upper shoulder.

The reason I say this is that the business world frowns upon tattoos still (for the most part) even though quite of few of us all have a tattoo or 2. This applies to you even if you have no intention of ever having a corporate job or such because you never know where you might ultimately end up.

It should be something that you want to live with for the rest of your life and have special meaning to you. Thus, don't put a girl's name on your body or sign that you cannot read. They might tell you that it means tiger, but in reality it can me little chicken sh%@.

My niece got one on her leg of a rose with the name of her stillborn baby that she lost in 2005. That is very special.
Her middle name was Rose.

I agree with Cajun....it should be something that means something to YOU and not for anyone else. My soon to be EX put my name on his chest...I thought that it was very special at the time. BUT...we are no longer together. Relationships come and go...make it important to you.

u should get a tattoo that has meaning to you. Something ur gonna remember yrs from now.

if you can't think of one that is unique the shop will have tons of work that you can look through for ideas.

where would you get your name at?

i hear things all the time about people who couldn't get a job because they had tats on their necks or hands. a dress shirt wouldn't cover it so the companies said that they were unemployable. goes to show you that public perception still rules alot of places because they are still judging you based on how you look.
