As to the OP, grief is a terrible thing but if one is pushing gun crazy ideology they are wrong, whether they know it or not. They may need to grow past their own fear or grief or both to see it but they are still wrong.

It had nothing to do with grief. His daughter was one that survived.

Which he has every right to do.
