That means, Immigration will hold her VISA for 5 years. She won't be allowed to reenter.

She was here on a VISA, going back into Mexico when she was supposed to and staying the amount of time she was legally obligated to.

One of the tenants in the apartment house turned her in.

The kid can stay. He just has to get a legal guardian. I volunteered to take him in. He is doing his first year in US schools and will have the rest of this year to learn English.

Our Justice system is really screwed. Illegals that commit felonies get rewarded with amnesty.

Get yourself and your friend a good immigration lawyer.

The only Lawyer she could try to get would be one in Mexico.

I suppose, if they had booked and jailed her, she might have been released in the States. But, she was called down at the Immigration checkpoint on the border.

I was wondering why they hadn't shown by closing time. I had some stuff she had bought she asked me to hang on to for her.

The only time an Immigration is affordable is to Illegal who commit felons and are in Jail. They get them free, on the tax payer dime.

If she was in Arizona, Sheriff Joe would have rounded her up and shipped her back to old Mexico.

The problem starts with Mexico. If these people cannot try to make things better where they were born, what makes anyone think they will do the same at another place?

I suppose you'll now know what NOT to do, after that, right? :) Unfortunately, many mexicans love to just cross the border. Never understood why. They need to have legal permission first. It ain't fair that you should bear the blame.
