Topic: So we focus on guns... | |

Oh yes, guns are scary. But how about this?
Watch below. This is precious! http://youtu.be/PZbG9i1oGPA Blame the tool? Or blame the man? Here is situation where guns didn't matter. But likewise let us look at the realities of this. ANYTHING CAN BE MADE INTO A WEAPON. So do we fear guns or do we stop being afraid of inanimate objects and be more afraid of human nature? Construction Equipment gone wild! |

The people that whine about wanting guns will whine about people wearing vector shields because no longer will their precious bullets tear through flesh and kill people like they so badly want.
If anything can be made into accurate long-range, concealable weapons, then surely nobody will miss having guns. |

Imagine waking up one morning with pyrokinesis, think the movie Firestarter.
Would I be amused by guns with that power? Watch Firestarter and pay attention to the end! the military was trying to shoot that girl but were they succeeding??? Then guns would be worthless! |

Oh so now they are going to try to confiscate my dozer?
I protest! I love my dozer. |

so all the government needs to control it's citizens are Bulldozers?
Martial law can be enforced by placing a Bulldozer on every block it's time for all the citizens to have C-4 or some anti-tank missles |

I so remember that movie! I was nine when that came out. That Caterpillar D-9 was PISSED off!
But the Colorado Killdozer had a very angry driver in it. I think the odd thing was he killed no one. Took out the city hall, a bank, several businesses, some homes, and every last target was people who really did screw him over. He took his own life instead. Even the "System" was part of what had been done to this man. He did nothing to anyone who had nothing to do with what he had suffered. http://www.damninteresting.com/the-wrath-of-the-killdozer/ I found the story behind this incident. This thing would have taken a tow missile hit probably! And @funches, dude, do you remember the Civilian Defense? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_civil_defense During WWII and the Korean Conflict people trained to integrate with police and the National Guard so that people with guns were not running around all willy-nilly! We have forgotten the things that made us a great and powerful nation both abroad and at home. If they had Civil Defense training I would go! Would you? Civil Defense goes a long way but do we have that today? HELL NO! Now we have to depend on fireman and police and other bogus authority figures to protect us from harm. We don't roll up our sleeves and get dirty any more. Gotta look all MTV for the girls now. Please, this is how I would have dealt with killdozer sight unseen. Shape charge on a rope, Ambush the vehicle. Drag the shape charge in front of the treads with a rope from a safe location out of sight of his guns. And right when he is just about to crush the charge take out his tread on one side. Dynamite can do the job if you put a plate of soft metal like lead or copper over the dynamite. Mining explosives would not have worked the same way. Another variant would be to put a huge charge of dynamite, about ten to 15 sticks under a manhole cover using a pothole to set the manhole cover over it and when the dozer was over the manhole cover POP GOES THE ARMOR! I could in theory kill an M1 Abrams too or at least disable it enough to make killing it easier. I just need access to the right materials. You don't need C4. It works better. Even an ANFO charge placed the right way CAN kill a tank or flip it over but that is MUCH better for whole scale wiping people out. Pit traps do wonders for a tank. So does immolating it in fire. No tanks can survive being on fire for long. Their engines need to breath air. And if you get it hot enough on the outside the crew dies on the inside. I LOVE FIRE! And low flying helicopters... Use a cheap rocket to drag a cable into the rotors of a flying helicopter and watch several million in hardware hit the ground hard! PLEASE! America WANTS me to be on its side! I have knowledge that makes me dangerous but to use it to go around killing people? Those that are a credible threat YES. Everyone else? WHY? What would making everyone around me fear me serve me? People are scared of me just becasue and that is bad enough! people pretend they know me and everyone else. So Funches, |

Reading this thread reminded me of a video I saw called "The Coconut Revolution."...The tribesmen started out with nothing but an unconquerable spirit and some spears & arrows, but managed over time to steal and replicate enough of their enemies' stuff to use it effectively and win against their country's army, the Australian army, and the foreign mercenaries hired by the corporation that started all the trouble. Maybe I should post the vid for "educational purposes"...just in case you guys ever find yourselves fighting a guerrilla war: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDpvxQe_Jhg (BTW...Rio Tinto is a Rothschild company if I recall correctly) |

So Funches, Civil Defense training?...are you talking about sitting on the couch blowing people up in video games? civil defense training would be what the Israeli do, their government require it's citizens including women to serve at least two years in the military also AndyBgood...you being a gun owner and then trying to justify the damage that dozer guy was doing as only harming those that he felt harmed him....is somewhat disturbing |

Me alone against what numbers? There is such a thing as Overwhelming odds you now! If I could take 20 people of my choosing armed appropriately? There had better be THOUSANDS OF THEM! Note the words PROPERLY EQUIPPED! The English almost lost Africa to a bunch of "Naked Jungle Bunnies with sticks," as the English commander called them reminding King George the III during the Zulu wars ENGLAND CAME DAMN CLOSE TO LOOSING! King George the III didn't take the situation they had in Africa seriously at first until he got to find out he faced well over 125,000 fighters vs, a few thousand English troops! Had the English not reinforced with 25,000 men fully equipped to face them they would have gotten tossed out of Africa! Alone I am nothing but an annoyance, but then again Rome felt the same way about Spartacus and look at what that got Rome! Now about your flippant remarks about Civil Defense Training. IT IS NOT TAUGHT ANY MORE! IT WENT OUT OF VOGUE IN THE EARLY 1970s THANKS TO THE HIPPIE MOVEMENT IN PART! PEACE OVERWHELMED COMMON SENSE! I actually want to lobby FOR CIVIL DEFENSE so we can get communities involved with our nation again! But I doubt you would go! I am pretty sure blasting your Abs takes more president over community. If there was a Civil Defense course I would be in it already if I wasn't in one previously! |

Correction, King George the third thought the Zulus were nothing more than a bunch of naked jungle bunnies running around with pointy sticks. His top commander reminded him that they were going to loose to those said jungle bunnies becasue they had a right proper empire with 125,000 troops. Chaka himself was incensed King George the turd would not face him!

AndyBgood...you just place up a video with a craze guy in a Bulldozer...and as seen in that video Civil defense against a Bulldozer would have been useless .. that's why Civil Defense isn't out of "Vogue"...it's just obsolete....when the draft went away those that actually want to defend the country tend to join the military, not sit around trying to play soldier while crying about how the government is trying to take their guns |

Dude, you so refuse to get it. When people are involved with their communities especially with an organization that does more than war time BS it brings people together. But I guess that is just too much for you to understand. BTW, CD had access to National Guard Armories. it was a branch of the national Guard and Coast Guard. Mostly they were people who were just a second pair of hands so to speak but CD did more than yell "Lights Out" at people! I remember seeing pictures of people manning Anti Aircraft batteries during WWII wearing CD helmets! They also manned Spotlights, got people out of the way to shelters, were responsible for disaster relief!
You just don't get it! If you are military I am stunned you would even trivialize something like Civil Defense so readily!!! ONE THING THAT I CAN SEE IS NOT EVOLVING WITH AMERICA IS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT LIKE IT WAS IN THE 1930s or WWII all the way to the 1960s. I guess so many people were reaching for over equality they forget America and we are supposed to be Brothers in Arms, not Greece in its decline! And Correction about my comments on the ZULUs. The empire of the Zulu was about 125,000 people. The Zulu forces were about 4000 strong give or take. They slaughtered the British expeditionary INVASION force. It took 7000 English troops to beat the Zulu. But the Zulu mauled the English. The English may have decimated the Zulu forces but at great cost to them. The Zulu ALMOST managed to beat the English none the less. http://youtu.be/FS8sHeFakoI But I digress, My answer to that tank would have been this, we have national guard armories scattered here. I got one a few blocks away. it might take two or thee hits to have penetrated that armor but A LAW Rockets would do nicely. But then again on pavement oil will screw with a bulldozer too. But I digress to fire. Nothing works like fire! Nice smoky vision obscuring fire! All you need to do is just get it hot enough. Hell, the engine would have choked out anyways. How easy is it to get gasoline and containers to fill? Here. EASY! Major drawback, collateral damage! But considering the other options... FIRE Oh Oh! Giggity! |
