I hate child proof lids on bleach and other household items.... I have a very frustrating time opening them.

Hell, I can't hardly open a package of candy without a pair of scissors everything is so.... hermetically sealed.

Today I bought a gallon of bleach with a child proof cap. They quit carrying the one brand that did not have that damn cap. So I made the checker at the check out stand remove the blue child proof top leaving the black easy open top on the bottle.

Child proof my butt. If I had any children I could get them to open it for me, they consider it an honor and a challenge.

They should call them toddler proof caps because any "child" can open them. Its us old farts who have a hard time with them.

My pharmacy has the coolest prescription bottles now.
When you get one, it is child-proof (ugh, I agree) but
once you open it, you turn the lid upside-down and it
is a regular lid, forever easily opened after that.

I really want to meet the guy that invented that.
I dunno why they could not do that for other products,
like your bleach?

Yeah, I hate the freaking safety seals on everything, especially on peanut butter - that one never comes off without making a mess.

One d-bag, 30 years ago, poisons five aspirin bottles, and the rest of us have to pay for it the rest of our lives!!!! I still think it was done by a plastics corporation executive, just to boost sales.

Wow I have never seen anything like that. I will check into that and lobby for other companies to do that.

I'm so sick of the "gubment" trying to justify their jobs coming up with crap like that.

All the while they are pushing drugs with violent and suicidal side effects, and genetically moderated food with side effects, and all these artificial sweeteners and artificial colors, and flavors with side effects.

They are TRYING TO KILL US NOT PROTECT US.

I never had, either, just is a totally cool invention..
the easy lid closes just as a regular lid, turn it back
up-side down and it is child-proof again.

I mean, I wish I had thought of it.

I wonder if they have standard sizes. I could get some for my bleach and other stuff.

I don't personally mind the child proof containers, but I agree with you about how it often all comes down to a few crazies ruining things for everyone else.

What's up with putting a sticker on every single piece of fruit?

Kombucha teas now have to be sold as "alcoholic beverages", so this delicious and healthy drink went from being on a fast track to decreasing in price to increasing in value and becoming less available.

Kids cannot catch a buzz off of Kombucha; the amount you would need to drink for that to happen is utterly ridiculous. Considering that the average bottle is roughly .5 to 1.0 ABV, you'd need about 3 1/2 bottles just to equal one beer. You have any idea how much probiotic material you're ingesting for one beer? And that's crappy, watered down beer standards too.

If your kid is that desperate to get trashed, redirect him to duster/cough syrup (18 and up and gets you trashed)/gasoline/glue/nutmeg/salvia (crack of the hallucinogen world)... or how about you stop sucking at parenting and maybe your kid won't need to escape from reality that badly.

How come things that say "easy open" or "easy pour" aren't?

I don't think I could fight my way out of a paper bag. Any more I need a knife or a pair of scissors to open anything.
