he he. Thanks. My friends seem to think I am a catch because not only am I self sufficient financially; but I can do home renos, cook, and auto mechanics; as well as giving a guy his "me" time. I am also handy with a weapon and a good driver as I drove on the autobahn in Germany. LOL Guess; I am a bit too much for the average guy.

Strange are the self-worth perceptions of women,(in general) here in North America. Women in Western Europe have a very different, almost a 'happy-go-lucky' attitude of a very positive self worth. While women are equal, both by law and custom, women are still regarded by most males as 'very special' in the sense of the differences of their physiognomy. They and only they are able to bear children; they are indispensable to Life;(one reason for the reluctance to allow females any direct combat roles in any of our armed forces), always have been. But perhaps that perception is also class based...after all what lower classes remain are not known for their high regard for females...not to even mention how in Eastern Europe they are still regarded as chattel; junk to sell and get money from...
What about your equality from your own military people? Don't your male counter-parts accept you as fully equal and/or as way above average for the party-animal types???
