...from almost 36 yrs. ago called me this evening! I didn't think he even knew I existed. We had a wonderful 2 hr. conversation and he asked if he could call again in a few days.

Felt so silly when I first answer the phone...that school girl giddiness took over for a few minutes...(at this age! )...even had to remind myself to breath. LOL

He was our Capitain of the football team and class president and is still as gorgeous as ever!

I will be going to sleep with this smile plastered on my face.

Yep; it is hard to forget your first crush; and it still makes me want to puke thinking of it. It certainly wasn't a beautiful feeling.

Maybe he suddenly remembered how great it was to be with you. . I think everyone's experience with their first ever boyfriend/girlfriend can vary. Mine gives me a giddy feeling, too. After five years of not speaking, on his part, he realised that any new woman he had after me, just couldn't tame him. Oh aye. . I tried to see if he seemed genuine enough about getting back together with me again, and he did. As our bond with each other is what makes us. I realised how much I missed his little quirks, like suddenly hugging me out of the blue, writing me little love notes, leaving me gifts and hiding them in places for me to find :). I think we force ourselves to forget them at first, as we think that we will never see him/her again, but little do we know, we sometimes do. lol. At least it's better to reconcile with friendliness, than let a break up be a heavy bitter burden on your heart. I think we both even get on better now, as we were only teenagers back then, and hadn't matured much.

I just told this guy yesterday about the secret crush I had on him back in high school. We were never boyfriend/girlfriend...we never spoke to each other until yesterday. We were both pretty shy in school...so much so I had my sister call him posing as me, asking him to our senior prom. He didn't remember such a call and thinks his older brother took it pretending to be him. Anyway, we have both overcome our shyness, both are single and both interested in getting to know each other. Who knows what may come of it!?

That's cool...My high school crush got a hold of me a couple years back on Facebook, apparently it only took one message for her to hate me again.

In all honesty though, she changed dramatically.

I got an email 2 years ago (during a momentary lapse of reason I was a facebook member) from a 'friend of a friend'.. a guy I dated when I was 17, and like you, adored him, but he just disappeared one day.. anywho in his very first email to me he wrote he still dreamt about me often and then went on to explain what had happened to him.. long 'n short is, he wanted to hook up BUT.. was still married and couldn't leave his wife.. I simply said goodbye

How wonderful for you Since everyone changes every so many years it will be fun for you to learn how the both of you have changed since school(hopefully for the better on both ends). Maybe fate decided that it took all those years (and changes) for the two of you to find each other.....you just never know

That's what we have concluded jemare. He mentioned something the other night about wishing he could have a 'do over'...I said no...life happened as it did so that we could become the people we are now, enabling us to 'do it right' THIS time.
