people would say never kick an opossum when she's down, but i couldn't think of a better time. she's that much closer to your foot! don't worry opossum, i'm only funnin' HIL-AR-IOUS! ...and OMG...look at that cute little baby in the pink cast! Not making any spring plans at this point. Looks like I know what my left boot will look like on whatever days I make rodeo (although I WILL have good parking!) But maybe I can get my new Luchesse's on the installment plan? The right boot this year and the left boot next year...LOL! When is rodeo days?

I wish we could squash the flu bug many that I know have had it and one was taken to the hospital.. It is bad for sure...Knock on wood I have been able to stay away from it so far...

Yes, Kristi - Day 12 of recovery on one foot. Yes, Hippee - 21 days total before I graduate to crutches. Taking it day by day!

Crutches are the pits (they hurt the armpits that is). But at least you can hobble around.

I was on crutches for a couple of weeks prior to being able to hobble along on my own. It was painful, but worth getting rid of the crutches.

So are you getting around in a wheel chair for now? They have pads you can get for crutches that helps from them being so hard on your underarms...
