Today Florida issued it's 1 millionth concealed weapons permit. If my math is right, that's one good guy for every group of 20 people. God bless Florida and may God bless America.

She's got a point people. I don't know what duties go along with those permits, but I'm guessing they are at least proper gun storage & care (don't let belly button lint clog the barrel) and target practice.

The additional duties probably go without mention, but I'll mention them anyway. You have the power of a killer and the duty of a peace officer to protect and defend not only yourselves, but everyone, because with or without a badge, you ARE de facto peace officers and have those responsibilities whether it says so on the permit or not.
