I believe they can work, but it takes a whole lot of work, trust, and $$$ for travel back and forth to make it work. Airline tickets aren't as cheap as they used to be, but if someone is worth it to you, you will find a way.

with the modern world nowadays with modern technology.. is long distance relationship is more possible to work now? Depends on the distance, and if both or one person is willing to travel. Most people do not like dating just over the computer. Personal contact is more Normal.
