one *** hole is using my personal pic as his profile pic...........how to get rid of him ![]() I think that happens more than people know. I think a lot of scammers lift photos and entire profiles. I know they use real estate virtual tours to make it look like they live at a particular address. Especially desireable ones. You research the address you find out the house has been on the market or tied up in an estate for years. Married guys actually pull this one to cover were they live with the wife and kids. I know several have lifted military photos which I particularly find infuriateing. It is actually a crime to impersonate a military member but you can only prosecute the ones who live in the USA so before you get all mushy about someone make sure they are who they say they are. Take it as a compliment. At least it says he thinks you have potential at attracting the ladies. Anyone who does this online dating thing long figure out not to believe much until you see it in person. |
