The morning-after pill works by preventing ovulation or fertilization. In medical terms, pregnancy begins when a fertilized egg attaches itself to the wall of the uterus.
So, am I supposed to believe that a fertilized egg that isn't yet attached to the wall of the uterus is somehow already a human being? we are all free to believe what we wish a fertilized egg has many stages of life, the first is attached to the wall, the next is attached to a breast, and the final may be attached to an oxygen machine to me, they are all human life and all valuable |

Humm so if their religion is against using Doctors at all their employees should not get insurance at all huhh?? Just saying for that is what is being implied!......Sorry I don't buy that at all... I'm just thankful I work for a small company that believes in handing down some of their profit to benefit their employees...Yes the company I work for pays for all their employees health insurance as well as a life insurance policy.... Not only that they actually help all the guys that work for them to be able to buy all their tools. Company pays for them and puts them on a payment plan to pay them off at $25 a week.. Best company I have ever worked for..And ya know what everyone is at work everyday with a good attitude wanting to help the company make it! I think it is a matter of necessity and commmon sense really although, common sense is another debatable concept of course, there is a strong necessity in the case of medical care with doctors, to recover from illnesses, and treat disease and injury,,etc,,, there is more of a convenience to have bc then there is a necessity, as long as abstinence and condoms are easily accessible, there is not the same urgency or need for them as there is for medical care I do think basic health care should be covered because people become ill and have accidents in the course of life that can prevent their ability to provide for theirself or their family if left untreated I just dont think it should go so far as mandating non medical care, like birth control, which is more a prevention convenience, than an actual TREATMENT of a medical condition,,, Who decides what's necessary, though? Should the employer be able to decide what medication is necessary for their employees? Preaching abstinence to adults isn't going to work. And unfortunately, condoms aren't 100% effective. Many are against abortion, so I would think that they would be ok with the use of the morning after pill to prevent pregnancy in cases where it's needed. The preaching of abstinence may be the only voice of reason... It's a shame that so many adults are living their lives without restraints. Yet they insist on having some institution provide the solution to their multitudes of indiscretions. Unwanted pregnancies have become a pathological disease by society's absence of moral standards. I think people should and do have the personal choice, I just dont think companies should be mandated to cover the cost,, true 'adults' should be able to do that when they make the choice to be active , in my opinion Do you have a list of medications that you believe should be available through insurance and that should not be? no, I dont have a list thats why I said common sense (which isnt always common) needs to be applied, so companies arent forced into covering ANY AND EVERY medical convenience the drug industry comes up with,,,, I believe MEDICALLY necessary pregesterone should be covered, as the medicine is not ONLY used for birth control I believe the drug prescribed merely as a form of birth control should not be FORCED to be covered like for instance, hysterectomies, as a treatment of excessive bleeding/cramping etc,, may be covered under a plan although hysterectomies as a form of birth control is not,,, |

I agree with this. Having sex outside marriage without protection is immoral. It isn't immoral for those who do not share your beliefs. Sorry, I missed the "without protection" part. |

But have a issue with what the health insurance must cover instead based on religion. But what about the belief of those that are employeed by them.... Just because they believe one way does not mean that right should be taken away from the ones that believe otherwise.. Just saying... The people who work for Hobby Lobby do not have to work for Hobby Lobby, if they are unhappy then they should hit the road. What this is doing to these Christians is forcing them to do something that goes against their beliefs and their right to happiness which is supposed to be guaranteed under the constitution. |

maybe all health insurance plans should be mandated to cover everything and give no choice to anyone.... or all health insurance plans must meet a certain level of coverage and that level of coverage must cover either contraceptives and/or abortion or maybe the govt could cover contraceptive methods to help stop the additional child/spousal abuse possibilities that may arise from having an unwanted child just a few thoughts but hey what do i know |

Any of you that curse your father or mother shall be put to death; you Leviticus chapter 20 27 "Any man or woman who consults the spirits of the dead shall be stoned to death; Exodus Chapter 22 (TEV) 21 "Do not oppress foreigners in any way. Remember, you yourselves were once foreigners in the land of Egypt. Deuteronomy chapter 22 22 If a man is found sleeping with another man's wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die. |

Sunday is the first day of the week, not the seventh. Anyway, the Bible doesn't prohibit what Hobby Lobby's owners are opposed to. The only time that anyone in the Bible was punished for practicing birth control, the person punished was a man who was supposed to participate in a levirate marriage, which was a requirement in ancient Middle-Eastern societies. Gentiles who are Christians are not required to participate in levirate marriages. |
