What you need to say as an opener is something that is covered in one or two, or maximum two words. A three-word message is pushing it. The message should reflect, in an indirect way, your IQ, your lifestyle, which way you voted yesterday, and who your favourite ancient Greek playwright is.

I just say Hi, introduce myself, and maybe ask a few questions but I try above all to be my natural self, no pretence.
