So if you call your daughter "precious", that puts a monetary value on her? it's best to ask a Father that have a daughter that was kidnapped and held for Ransom ... There is not a big difference between the spiritual world and the physical world Funches. Cowboy..you just claim that Gold is not spritual nor secular....but yet admitted that your God is spiritual... you turned Gold into something that your God is incapable of acheiving and in doing so "you made Gold God" are you sure you don't want to change your mind about Gold being neither spiritual nor secular? .because it's darn tooting that your God has "no choice" to be one or the other What are you talking about Funches? "Secular" is a term used that is entirely not about "God" eg., there is no God. Gold was made by God, so it wouldn't be "secular", nor is it a spiritual object eg., a ghost or something of such. Secular - Denoting attitudes, activities, or other things that have no religious or spiritual basis: "secular buildings" So again "gold" wouldn't be specifically secular as it was created by God. And God can be anything and everything he wishes to be, what are you talking about? You're on a roll so far today. |

But you Do like to state many things as fact that are not. you mean like 3 Gods is really one God? you like to re quote people saying things they have not said. you mean when I re-quoted Jesus when he said that you have to "hate" your friends family and your life in order to be his disciple?.... and Christians accuse me of not understanding what the word "Hate" meant? ..that hate actually means love? You like to talk about other peoples 'God' that you don't really believe in but you pretend you do. to debate the bible fairly, you have to play like the biblical characters are real... even the talking serpent and the talking donkey..would you not agree with this? you like to get people to say what you want them to say to attempt to trap them into saying something they didn't. All to prove your point but not listen to theirs. didn't Jesus command you to do the same?....to spread the word to all nations? are you another one of those Christians that don't follow the commands of your supposed savior? And in the end, the OP losses his thread to your dribble, argumentative childish petty arguments that are maintained purely for argument sake. isn't that what you yourself are guilty of doing now....jeez talking about being a hypocrite And I mean no offense with my Holy Crap. HikerJohn...all you do in your posts is try to preach sermons, you never debate, you just give sermons But this is the religious section. I would assume that this Crap is the Crap we talk about here. weren't Cowboy and I debating about your crappy God?....but yet you're here whinging about it as being crap, And if you were in the boys room with me this morning, sorry hikerjohn, I only perfer semi-sane women you would know my Crap is as bad or worse than anyone else. Including yours. but yet you're here complaining about what others posts ...can we say..."Hypocrite"? you mean like 3 Gods is really one God? Again, the word "god" is not a species, it is a title Funches. It means one with authority. That is why Jesus referred to his father as HIS God and Jesus always refers to himself when speaking to us as "our God". And is why we are gods as well, because we have authority over the beasts of this world. So yes, all three, make up one "God". All three have authority over us eg., The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. you mean when I re-quoted Jesus when he said that you have to "hate" your friends family and your life in order to be his disciple?.... and Christians accuse me of not understanding what the word "Hate" meant? ..that hate actually means love? This is just another example of your famous taking things out of context. "Hate" means to dislike extremely. But put into context, Jesus always says to do this in comparison to him eg., to love him most and to put him foremost before anything or anyone else. Luke 14:26 26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. Or in other words, if we do not put Jesus first, we can not be his disciple. Which makes perfect sense, because if we put Jesus first and obey his commandments. We will then love anyone and everyone in the world. |

Gold can make the claim of "never" being spiritual nor secular God would be incapable of truthfully making such a claim Gold will always be above God |

Luke 14:26 26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. Cowboy...Hate means Hate the question now is...are you a disciple? |

Gold is nothing more then a piece of metal that shines. It only has financial value on it, because man has placed it on it. But all in all, it is no more valuable then the rock in my yard. |

Cowboy...Hate means Hate the question now is...are you a disciple? Yes, hate means hate and hate means to dislike something. And again, putting it in CONTEXT funches, all Jesus is saying here is put him first. And if we put him first, we will obey his commandments, and his commandments are to love our family and everyone else. He also says it more bluntly here. Matthew 6:33 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. |

Only to you Funches. Gold is nothing more then a piece of metal that shines. It only has financial value on it, because man has placed it on it. But all in all, it is no more valuable then the rock in my yard. sorry Cowboy,...but God has not paved Heaven with rocks from your Yard which explains why you are not the richest person in the Universe and explains why God is the richest .... |

Again, it's not about the monetary value of gold in which why the streets are paved in it. It's for it's beauty. Why again do you always thing of money? It is only man that has placed that value on it, not God. God couldn't care less about our "money". |

And if we put him first, we will obey his commandments, and his commandments are to love our family and everyone else. do Christians actually believe that being commanded to Love is actually "Love"? |

And if we put him first, we will obey his commandments, and his commandments are to love our family and everyone else. do Christians actually believe that being commanded to Love is actually "Love"? Why isn't it? Would it be more love if God commanded us to hate everyone, in that exact context? Or possibly no rule/law on it at all, and just let us run around like chickens with our heads cut off? The reason behind God commanding us to love one another, is to make it apparent their will be negative effects of not doing as such. It's not so much of a direct order as if we didn't know to do it or not. How could God judge us on it if he never gave a law about it? That wouldn't be to righteous. And that's why life is about. It's about showing love to the world. So again, how could he judge us on it if we were never informed of it being right or wrong? How would that be righteous? |

Yes, while Jesus was in the physical form in the flesh, he had use of money. Again, context funches. And God instructed us to tithe, because the churches are suppose to use that money to help those in need. It's not for God himself lol. What would God do with money? Buy something he created? lol. |

Why isn't it? Would it be more love if God commanded us to hate everyone, perhaps Mingle2 should get rid of the "Mutual Match" and instead have "Commanded Love" that way they can marry off the entire site in a couple of days unfortunately that tactic probably drive up the divorce and murder 10 fold in other words Cowboy..Love supposedly comes naturally not because someone threaten you into doing it |

And threaten? What are you talking about? Please enlighten us with this threat if we don't love another, God is going to do something. Give the verse Funches, you seem to know something we don't. |

What would God do with money? Buy something he created? lol. isn't that what Jesus did ??? what are you talking about? Yes while Jesus was in the flesh, he had to buy/trade things. But again, context Funches. We're not referring to that little time Jesus was in the flesh, we're discussing about the majority of the time while he's in Heaven, keep up please. There was no reference to Jesus specifically in this specific discussion about God needing or not needing money. |

It does come naturally. if Love come naturally to you because you were commanded to Love....that makes you a sociopath And threaten? What are you talking about? Please enlighten us with this threat if we don't love another, God is going to do something. Give the verse Funches, you seem to know something we don't. what supposedly happens to sociopaths that don't follow the commands of their Gods |

Please enlighten us with this threat if we don't love another, God is going to do something. Give the verse Funches, you seem to know something we don't. what supposedly happens to sociopaths that don't follow the commands of their Gods if Love come naturally to you because you were commanded to Love....that makes you a sociopath No, not because I was commanded. If God would never have commanded us to love one another, then come "judgement time", he would not be able to judge against people that did hateful things, because he had never informed us not to be that way. Would not be righteous for him to judge against us for doing hateful things if he had never gave laws to be loving to one another. But, all in all, no we don't love because we HAVE to. We don't HAVE to do anything, that's what they call free will. And if one does things loving out of trying to save their own butt, their actions are in vein and then moot. We obey and do things out of love, not out of direst. |

The money donated to churches, is for just that, the churches. The upkeep, helping people in need, and so forth. |
