..So were you part of a dysfunctional family or a sane family? COMpletely dysfunctional. Parents married 11 times between them. 10-12 siblings, depending upon who you talk to. Some I have never met AND as young as as 15. My Mother, in the Home, no doubt resting up after her 8 marriages, and still hitting on the incoming male members (she is known as the Black Widow, her many husbands, most deceased under circumstances best left unquestioned, but with fiscal repercussions quite positive for her) well, when the families find out who their Daddy has been seen chatting with, Daddy is quickly moved on to another Home. Apparently this perplexes her. My Dad's last mistress, cum wife, had a child before he died, and one after. She was 34 years younger and quickly built a new 15 million dollar home near Bill Gates in a gated and gun guarded community...kids shipped off to boarding schools. I left home at 18, never to return. Never wanted to. I could well be the only sane one. Depending upon who you talk to :-) |

Dysfunctional functional. My family is full of unique happy spirited people, only one seriously bad person who is no longer with us and lots of love.

That's a soap opera. you want to hear a soap opera i have a friend that i have known for over 30yrs i went to school with 2 of her cousins and they were teen mothers the rumor that was going around of who the father of there kids were it was either the brother or there grandfather as to find out the granddfather was the father of there kids now my friend that i have known for 30yrs her grandfather is also her father.. now i can tell this much she has been going through counsling for over 30yrs do to all this abuse her mom was 14yrs old and she had 7 younger syblings from the same man ( her father) my frien went through s'it she was not only alocolic but a drug abuser for yrs which i can understand why she even blamed herself for what her grandfather did... thats not her fault now you tel me would you deal with this kind of family ( ME HECK NO) she was brought up by her grandparents and she never knew her mom her grandmother tried to leave a number of times but he would beat her my friend was saying that the indians dont belive in divorce so she didnt have a choice of the matter her grandmother died sometime back but her grandfather (who should had been dead along time ago is still alive) her grandfather was actually put in jail with the help of my friends aunt who help her get the nerve to press charges but the courts only gave him 5yrs thats bunch of crock u ask me to compare to the mother that was resenly got charged for 99yrs for abusing her 2yr old daughter.. |

Is there such thing as a sane family or do they just have more secrets...?

My family was very dysfunctional so that explains a lot about me, eh?

Wow, what a cool question. I guess to some people my family would have been slightly dysfunctional. To others, as sane as the next family. So I guess we were...
happily dysfunctional? I have five siblings and we each have our own quirks. But then again, doesn't everyone have their own quirk or two? |
