Topic: Looking for the opinion of women! | |

Hey ladies, how many guys have you gone out with that are total ********?
I would love to discuss experiences, worst dates, best dates, so on and so forth. I had one male after ordering our food simply ask if i wanted to ditch out on the food and head off to his house for wine. After politely turning him done and explaining I wasn't comfortable with this, he stood up and started SCREAMING in my face. Cursing, swearing, putting me down, telling me I would only be worth a lay - then he walked out - leaving me to eat alone. Thankfully a table of very kind men who were neat by invited me to join them. but sheesh! |

My experience with men are they are intimidated by me. I am too smart and too independent according to them. I figure they are just too insecure about themselves. Oh well; not my problem. If that is all there is out there; I am better off alone.

@MsHarmony Walked away from his kid?! No way! ugh was that the last time you saw him?
@Navygirl You don't want a man who isn't comfortable where he stands in life and is threatened by you, let the weak ones be alone. |

You know I find it funny, everyman says they want someone: Beautiful, Independent, Strong willed, Funny, Kind, Intelligent - so on and so forth, yet when they find one they become scared and run.
I came up with a theory long ago that men make up these 'fictional creatures' women of myth so they always have an out 'oh she just wasn't smart enough.' 'No sense of humor.' blah blah blah. And then when they find one they become terrified of not being able to live up to her, they become freaked out that "Holy $h!t! They exist!" Lotsa men out there who have more of a vagina than I do. :P |

I was at dinner with a date one time.
He kept beeping. I mean, every few minutes his alarm would go off to take medication. Then the interminable explanation of said medicine. While eating. Hard to keep food down, ya know? |

I was sitting on the couch with the ex, forced to watch her hours of taped soap operas. She goes oooh that John Black is sooo handsome. I go oooh that Marlene is a real woman. The ex chops me right in the throat on the adam's apple it took an hour to recover. She said sorry I didn't mean to hit you there. When I could talk I asked her where she meant to hit me and she laughed.

The question was, "what did the op have to do to thank the gentlemen at the next table for rescuing her from this untenable social embarrassment?" ============= And no, I am not a woman as per the title of the OP. I just disobey outside of the box, thank you very much. |

I was at dinner with a date one time. He kept beeping. I mean, every few minutes his alarm would go off to take medication. Then the interminable explanation of said medicine. While eating. Hard to keep food down, ya know? He had six dates lined up after the one with you. These were V-pills. This guy's type of optimism sickens me too. How did you keep your food down, Soufie? I need detailed descriptions of the technique that you successfully applied, or even of the technique that did not work so well, if that was the case. -------------- To the unitiated, I hate man-bashing threads. For every man who made you sick, or made you feel embarrassed, or left the kids at home with their grandmother, ladies, you had at least ten if not a hundred dates with men who did not make you sick, but jumped backwards through flaming hoops, when you clicked your fingers, so help me god it's true. This is why I think manbashthreads are unfair. |

humans are strange. there's one comment that really disturbed me though. some guy once said, 'you're too cute to be thinking.' the **** does that mean?! He was fascetious, it was a compliment to you. He could have said, "you are not only smart and intelligent, you don't only have a good head on your shoulders, but good legs under your knees as well." He wanted to be original, he wanted to avoid saying something that hundreds before him said, so help me god, which was probably "you are not only a pretty face, your are very smart, too." Once I said in company something very witty to a very good looking neighbour. The comment was not something that was directed at her, but still something that was witty. She said, why do always say unusual things? I said, I like to say things that are original and creative. She said then, "why?" This was it. Cold shower, then being scolded. Nothing to do. If witty is out by her standards, the dame is as emasculating for me, as Hitler was to Jews. |
