i believe there are two options;
one:
when you're absolutely miserable and simply don't care for anything anymore.
or two:
when you're absolutely euphoric and think there's nothing that can top it anymore.
this is if you think of death as a choice though.

Wtf? You don't get to choose when you die. It just happens. Just like you weren't able to choose when to be born. You're just here in the here and now.

Actually; you can choose when to die if you so desire.
But how? I always thought you could only time your death if suicidal. Even those don't always go as planned.

If I could tell the future I wouldn't need my Magic 8-ball........

Well, that is what I meant was suicide or assisted suicide.

Having been that miserable and opting not to make the effort to off myself I think it might be option two; I just have found anything that absolutely euphoric and I have had some pretty good stuff. I am more inclined to think I will go for the quick exit when I have decided that I have done everything I wanted to do.
At a certain point old age does not hold a great appeal so why mark time hanging around when you are done?

i was thinking a good high point to die at would be during an orgasm provided by a bearded man.
i'd leave with a smile on my face.

When I am laying in bed, immobile and can not remember faces and names of my loved ones, I no longer want to be here. That would be a good time.

I can't die...My writing will live on through the ages, even if only in small doses, it is out there. Besides, I have two books that I need to write yet, so at least give me til 50 or so.

Aye, yeah, 50 should be enough time.smokin
