Disappointing. Lame. I did not find it amusing actually just degrading and over the top. Particularly weak was the BS factor - about student loans and the claim that Republicans were going to raise interest rates on all the students...and throw everybody out of work, ship jobs overseas and all the rest of it. The profanity was not funny not needed and pathetic. The whole thing wreaks of desperation and strained humor. This ad did not work at all at least for me. It made me want to vote against Obama!! Not kidding. 
What were those idiots thinking?!?! that millions of people would hear about it, watch it, look up the facts for themself and possibly ponder the facts when casting their vote,,, |

HAAA I love Sam, my nephew is named after him after he used my bros house in a movie. A traight to the point kind of guy. Im sure its an idea from one previously which went out as a book called go the F to sleep or the popular song F' you by cee lo its also a pretty famous line delivered by Jackson in the film 'School Daze' I havent seen this on anything mainstream and it should be better regulated by facebook. they do have the ability to seperate adult material from other,,,, I'm pretty sure they were doing a take off on School Daze and it was supposed to be funny but it was flat! It bombed.
It is a little bit funny in the bombastic way it fails. But that is about it. I do note that there is no Obama voice over saying "This is Barack Obama and I approve this message."
I have to believe the Whitehous is pretty much doing a mass cringe with regard to this attempt to "hep a potus out". I think that this would be absolutely hilarious to lampoon so stay tuned - you heard it first here.
I actually have to correct myself,, I think the School Daze movie was a catalyst for the associaton of Jackson with a certain message (wake up) but more recently a VIRAL VIDEO festuring jackson narrating a story called 'go the **** to sleep', became very successful and well watched/regarded I think the idea for this ad may have spawned more from the success of that youtube video/narration |
