What does honour mean to you? Is it outdated in todays relationships?

Character, dignity, respect, integrity come to mind. Its only outdated for losers... |

There is an old Celtic saying: There are three things that maketh a man- the strength in his arms; the truth on his tongue and the honour in is heart.

It means obeying me...when I am trying hard for you. It means me obeying you..when you are trying hard for me. (Like it or not)
Beyond that...honour is a meaningless symbol of stubbornness . Honor is great except when clinging to a sinking ship. |

It seems to me that honour is outdated in everyday life; never mind relationships. I think its too bad as everyone could benifit from understanding what honour means.

Honor in a relationship has nothing to do with obeying each other and everything to do with conducting yourself in an honorable fashion...To do this you must honor the promises and commitments you make to your partner, you must accept and embrace the fact that your partner is the most valuable/important person in your life, and you must put his or her needs above your own on a daily basis...HONOR

Honor.....
Is the physical and emotional ability.... To stand behind the CRAP..... one lets flow from their mouth. The Integrity to say what you mean, mean what you say and stand up for it.... Good or bad. To recieve the Glory To accept the shame!! JMO |
