I have had nudges 'blew you a kiss'. Some have been from men looking for an intimate encounter. I send all of these back, sometimes. I don't think I've initiated contact more than once with a guy looking for this. Will nudges get you blacklisted?
I think my traffic is quite low. Maybe I should do a 'rate my profile' or maybe it's because I've gone into stealth mode.
It's not a big deal anyway. A couple of my relationships have begun just like that (they didn't do well for long, though)

Do not over think what others do. You have one post. Try the forums more and you will make friend here in no time.

Nudges aren't useful unless it strikes up a conversation. I ignore nudges from guys, and state it in my profile. It's fine AFTER we've talked, but irritating beforehand.

I am also baffled... why would a site introduce a feature only in order to catch people off-guard...? Although PoF, in the infinite wisdom of its founder-owner, does have a feature of reporting and keeping tabs of people who list their relationship goal as "casual sex". That PoF guy is a humongous bore and boore and bully, who has no sense of humour at all. When you laugh at his policies, or make fun of them, he gets all Thor-like. Or rather Tyrannosaurus-Rex-like, because Thor is always made to use proper grammar and good spelling in Norse literature.

Anyhow, back to the topic, OP. I think you want to say Black Balled or better still, Blue Balled.

Oh, and please don't diss "sexy fun" -- it's not ALL that awful as you make it sound. There are some good moments in it. Usually. Or more precisely: sometimes.

If I were a woman, and guy "blew me a kiss", I'd find him effeminate. No frigging guy in his right mind blows kisses. He may whistle at a good looking girl, or holler, or slap her behind and then smack his tongue, but if he blows a kiss at you then you have to stop and think, to reflect on what on Earth could be wrong with him.

All that virtual hugging and kissing should be deemed harmless...
