does distance matter for getting to know some one personally to see if a relationship can develop?

Depends on the distance...if it's a couple of hundred miles then maybe not...but the other side of the world is to far, and maybe different culture and way of life

You can get to know someone from anywhere in the world. My experience so far with ldrs tho kinda sucked in their own ways. I wouldn't recommend them. Loneliness is pretty powerful of an emotion to try and work through. Theres nothing like being there with a person where you can actually do something about the goings on in someones personal life.

I believe it has a lot to do with determination after you begin to talk to someone. I know a few people who will go the distance on the off chance that it is for the right reasons.

Distance is an Obsticle.
A very wise person told me never to put obsticles in my own way. And I agree with her. Life has enough obsticles without us adding our owm. I would go any distance....for someone I feel is...... Right!!!!! |

a mingler told me "ive learned a long time ago that distance is just a flight away."
and if you think about it, yeah.. thats true,so distance should not be a hindrance..and also fibre-optics works wonder..sure,ldr's doesnt always work..but when the person from that side of the world make you smile no end, its worth it.. |
