why then whenever i get a view on my profile they are all in either nigeria or hong kong? I live in friekin the USA in a small state and in a small ... city.. why on earth are there quacks checking me out a million miles away!?

Scammers are everywhere, you have to learn to wade through them. Some of them over there are legit, and the scammers make it very hard on them too.

This is an international site. Maybe they saw you in the forums and wanted to see who you were? There are many reasons.

You can always adjust your private mail settings to filter out people who don't live within a certain distance of you.

It all depends on the distance they put in for their search. And btw do be wary of long distance lookers because there are many scammers that are not even where they say they are or who they are.

You know what spammers want. You're money. All of it. . I can't count how many supposed african uncles of apparantely mine have apparantely died, who apparantely have left me a big sum of money after Uncle Shffhddhrdgh died. If I have that many uncles, then the aunt needs a D.N.A test. . And I'm celtic british desent, not african. Get with the programme all you spammers out there.

Most spam actually comes from the U.S. Canada, and Europe though.

Thanks i am going to do that now, i got spammed and almost caught in a trap by this one spammer who said she was supposedly in africa and needed help cause her mom was ill.
