just bhernandez, but she spreads the bulling around to several people, so i don't get bullied every time i post. i guarantee i guarantee she is an equal opportunity bully

(bulldog double guarantee - patent pending)

Yes, but she is an Oregon Duck and cute, too. So, she is tolerable.

Everyone picking on B.
She is just being honest. I hardly call that bulling. Just show her a beard and she is happy.

Perhaps I should update my images so that she can see my new beard.

Hmmm.
I have run into those on the forums who are
very sure that their opinion is ever
so much more valuable than anyone else's.

But usually, their readership deteriorates
enough that even they get the point.

Vayh. Don't be so sure, lady, that this is
indeed how it is.

Have you run into many bullies on forums?..I was a member of another forum for years and years. But the climate and atmosphere really started to change recently...More and more bullies stepped-in and took over. I guess they view themselves as "top dogs" or ??...It reminds me of how popular kids are portrayed in teenage movies. They act like snobs and "pick" on other kids...Have you ever run into anything like this on forums?

Not really. I mean of course there's a**holes that come and go, but this site is pretty good about keeping them under control.

Totage... a cat is a cat is a cat.

I would much sooner believe a bull who says
he is not into bullying people,
than believe a cat who says the same thing.

(for readers further down in history:
Totage shows a cute gray cat in his pic
at this moment. This may change, so that's
why I am explaining it here.)

B is no more evil, and she no more enjoys torturing small, furry little animals than any normal, well-balanced, emotionally well-put together extra terrestrial psycho-experiential robot.

In fact, B is, in her own way, a very kind and accepting individual. In her own special way, of course, which is that of an interesting recombination of DNA, which is responsible for empathy and social emotion, in her very own mutant way.

Cats are not bullies, they're just honest creatures. You gotta respect for that. lol

mingle mods do a very good job at actually monitoring the posts so that type of activity is squashed pretty quickly,,,

I agree with you here very much, MsH, although I have yet to see a post by a Mingle MOD that says essentially the same.

Also, let's give some credit to ourselves. We are here because we are each CAPABLE of being kind and non-boorish. This is something, too, a valuable character personality asset to bring to the table.

Cats aren't honest. They're just apathetic. They couldn't care less what you think about them . . . unless you are trying to catch one for a meal.

I agree! I think a lot depends on the wants and needs and mentality of each "group."...It sure feels great to be around fun-loving people. And people who don't want to "fight" or compete or "sweat" the "small stuff!"

I've recently ran into a bully on the internet, it wasn't on this site but a different one. He wrote me a private message saying the video I had of me playing guitar to a song I had up was played wrong and I didn't know what I was doing...Hmm

Let's think about this shall we? First and foremost, I wrote him back, he was 56 years old, not a metal fan at all, and never played guitar.

2) How in the hell did he know I was playing it wrong? I had many people say "great job, sounds awesome", I had my guitar and the music at the same level, so you could hear both easily. Again, never played guitar, so how would he know?!

3) Didn't know what I was doing...again, never played guitar. If I didn't know what I was doing, why would I have spent $700 on that Jackson guitar (in/on my profile)? If I didn't know how to play, I would go buy some P.O.S. and learn. I've been playing for 17 years!

4) He replied and said there's no way I could be playing it right when I was all over the fret board. Um, in case nobody knows, it's METAL music, they're all over the place. Ever heard Master of Puppets by Metallica (example song)..that song is fast as hell, the riffs are constantly all over the place.

Yea, I blocked his a$$

That is not a bully, that is just an idiot. I see them all the time on music sites.

Bullies are the guys who discover you like metal music, and then try to get the whole forums to kick you out with constant forum harassment.

Ooooh no, he constantly starting harassing me afterwards. As the days went by, I got sick of it. It wasn't a music site either. When I asked him what body style and pickups I had on the guitar (which, body style is Randy Rhoads, pickups are EMG's) he had no clue. He say flying V and electric pickups LOL, dumba$$

Bullies usually act the way they do because they are insecure and lack self esteem. I believe it gives them a false sense of empowerment. Sometimes they do pick on the wrong person though ;-)

Yeah to the first part. Life is filled with difficult people. The net provides a circus breeding ground for ones who just need a hug. We can say its a deep psychological root stemming from upbringing or how other people treat them in their lives but its no excuse. Everything we project is always a choice. Be our authentic selves (be liked or hated for that, either way) OR be an azz and make enemies with people who could possibly be a friend. Sometimes you will run into the people who are so jaded about everything, like their stop-watches ran out a while ago and no one noticed.

I used to be attacked left, right and center for speaking my mind. The important thing I keep with me is I am no better than they are if I provoke even more hostility. People can be really vicious but its always a thing where it only matters if I think its true. And always is it horse chit. People are bored and lonely. Next. yawn

Some bullies don't seem to have a conscience...How can they justify being so mean and nasty and hurtful to people who haven't done anything to them?..I guess they just become "mad the world" and take out their anger on anyone and everyone. Sad!..What do you think?

Oops...I seem to have duplicate posts a lot..Not sure why! Anyway I decided to edit the duplicate one..What else can I say about bullies? Well it feels good to be away from the bullies on the other forum...It became such a negative environment. I miss the non-bullies over there. But it just got to be a big "headache!"

There are no bullies in cyberland. This is just a dream that some think is real. Just a bunch of typed words that mean nothing in your real life. Flick the words that make you feel bullied off your mind like a dried up booger off the stering wheel.

Sticks and Stones will break my bones but typed words mean nothing unless you allow them to.
