What is grace? How do we apply this to our own lives?

To me grace is the ability to follow Jesus' teachings without lording it over others as if superior. It is the ability to show others how to live gently.

Grace is an elegant honor. Example, to stand in the presence of the Lord is a grace.

We honor the Lord when we demonstrate humility.

What hippie said is an example of how we can apply grace to our lives through humility.

When i think of grace, God's undiserved favour towards mankind comes to mind.

Ephesians 2:4-9,
"But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast".

As Christians we should attempt to spread the Love of Christ to others graciously through our speech, actions etc all for the glory of God.

Ephesians 4:29,
"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers."

I always thought that Gods grace is when he gives us stuff like making us strong and giving us guidance,especially when we need it the most

God is the Author of grace. Jesus was the gift of grace. Peter 4.10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. This is partially how we apply grace. Any more ideas on grace?

Isnt grace what we say before eating tucker?
