I love Texas, I really do! I'm not planning to go anywhere else, but I do have to say that I'm sure happy to have a sink full of green chilies from Hatch, NM to peel, chop and freeze today - freshly roasted and cooling with ice (stops the cooking and makes them cool enough to handle.) Yum, yum...guess what I'm making for the next few days? Yep! Anything green!

The skies are dark here and it is thundering looks like the bottom is going to drop out any minute.

It's been on/off cloudy at my place all day but I don't think we've had a drop...I've been tied to the kitchen, so could be wrong, but it looks pretty dry out there. The temps are lower today, though. That's a bonus!

Yeah the temperature has dropped here as well as the bottom fell out. It was pouring so hard had water running down the street... Good thing my BBQ grill is on the patio for I had burgers grilling when the bottom fell out....

Took Eddie to the airport this afternoon..went back and picked him up again this evening.. American cancelled all their flights into Dallas because of weather....to Amarillo in the morning to catch another flight..maybe. Storming here tonight...great lightening show!
