Is it just me, or did anyone else notice, there's a guy in Woodbury who looks just like Morgan? i'm pretty sure it is Morgan.i read somewheres that he is supposed to "re-appear" in one of the final 8 episodes of season 3 ...sure did look like him...didn't see his kid though. Just another hunch, perhaps if Rick sees him, maybe it'll snap him back to reality. |

It would appear Merle's back....this is going to be very interesting! Ya, he didn't want to leave his bro, Daryl 'again' as when they were younger, after he saw the scars on Daryl's back from their Dad. A new, improved Merle? |

Since Rick has become Mayor of Nut Town, I think Glen should take over as leader.

A new, improved Merle? ehhhh...I don't think so, Souf...He has an awful lot of enemies in the group. I'm sure he'll be stirrin' the pot every chance he gets. |

Since Rick has become Mayor of Nut Town, I think Glen should take over as leader. I was thinking the same, but that's a lot of pressure for a young dude...think his emotions getting in the way could be an issue? (esp w/ Merle back) I do like his strategies and tactics though. |

Merle's definitely going to complicate things. Yeah, Glen probably isn't in the right frame of mind right now, I think right now he would take on the whole town by himself.

I wanted to ask you guys' opinions on this.
The only reason I am able to watch the, er, 'dead' is because they move so slow and can't seem to utilize weapons, I mean you can literally walk away from them. Do you think this was intended, purposeful, so we 'scaredy cats' can enjoy the show? |

Do you think this was intended, purposeful, so we 'scaredy cats' can enjoy the show? That's the way these types of zombies have been seen going back to George Romero's Night Of The Living Dead(and even pre-Romero in the voodoo type zombie flicks). Granted there's also the super fast sprinter zombies like in the Dawn Of The Dead remake, and the zombies that use weapons(including guns) in City Of The Living Dead. Since The Walking Dead was inspired by Romero's zombie films, this is probably partly why they're the slow type. Personally I think they're far more creepier this way than the ones that use weapons, or the runners. |

Oh no, I don't think I could bear it if they learn to sprint..
It's like, right now, the worst thing they face is, well, human nature, the 'dead' are almost secondary, except you don't want to become one. |

In films like Dawn Of The Dead '04 and Dance Of The Dead, Dead Snow (even Return Of The Living Dead) the runners were zombies, the dead come back to life. 28 Days Later they were live people infected with the rage virus. |
