Gas prices could hit $3 by autumn!



The darkening clouds of the slowing economy could provide a bright spot for consumers:
gasoline at $3 a gallon — or less — by autumn.

Regular gasoline is averaging $3.47 a gallon nationally.

We are paying $7.79 per gallon in Ireland

How much in Ireland for a liter? Isn't that what they sell it by?

Yes petrol is sold by the litre here.

£1.49 per litre...that converts to approx dollars $7.78 a gallon

$3.09 is the cheapest around here, and that is exactly $1.84 too much as far as I'm concerned.
