I just don't know (said in whining voice).
And goodness knows, if I have found the real thing I don't want to jinx it by saying it out loud. Will know for sure weekend after next if my son goes to his dad's for the weekend. Road trip for Mommy. |

It's hard to imagine one would know immediately, especially when you realize how long it takes to really get to know someone. But if it's fate, I believe you'll know.

I think it will take time
To know who the "real one" would be |

As long as it doesn't feel like indigestion, I think so Seriously though - I hope so and hope even more so that I haven't found it AND let it slip away already. Something to think about |

for me it'll take a huge billboard and some road flares i suspect

I wouldn't say when you first find someone but I can say I do believe you will know when it happens. It's a shame most of have been through alot in order to get there. I can actually say I found it today. But even if you know it or feel you found it. It don't mean your not going to still have to work for it while you have it

hmmmm...I suppose if "one" is looking then mayhap depending on their frame of mind and what it is they are 'looking' for?..perhaps one will know?!..
Personally, I am a firm believer that if I just take it day by day, and just allow things to unfold, then if it's meant to be, then it will happen, on the flip side of the same coin, if it doesn't happen (meeting that "special someeone") then that's ok also......i am comfortable within my own skin not to allow it to consume me..or to look for someone.... i don't think i am capable of handling a relationship...too content on my own..lol...now thats a whole different site..lol. I have learned froom experience, thought he was the one, only to discover that it was best for me to run for the hills once we got to know eachother better......not everything nor everyone is as they seem..... better off alone with my computer...happier...lol... |

Well, darned if I know if I'll know. Been there TWICE in almost 30 years. Who knows if it'll ever happen again. I'd like to just not even think about it. 30, single, no kids, wanting family, etc. But I am a firm believer that there is a plan in life. I only hope the sweet plan for me isn't run down in the mud

With my luck
"the one" would be on the other side of the world and we'd never meet. |

I didn't know for sure if I found 'it' till i separated myself from him for like a week... then when I saw him I couldn't get him out of my head and all I wanted to do was kiss him. I tried dating someone else to see if there was sparks with an old friend (sounds bad, but I had to know to know if he was the one and that there were no threats) I realized I couldn't be with the old friend because it wasn't him. I couldn't kiss him, couldn't let it go sexual, he just wasn't my love. I saw the one who is my love after not seeing him for a mere week. Once I kissed him and we both almost cried, I KNEW that was the last man I ever needed to kiss.

I seriously believe that "The One" ...is a Myth....
I don't believe there is one special person out there that we are suppose to meet concerning "Destiny" I feel We just meet People and fall in love...In a certain way everyone or anyone can be or is the One. |
