I used to swim 100 laps every morning. Then, I discovered the hard way, that the pool maintenance people dumped 2 gallons of bleach in it about an hour before my visit each day. All my hair fell out. So I switched to the gym. Until I blew out my finger. Now I watch exercise videos. I don't exercise with them, I just lend my..support.

I'm very lucky that I can step out my front door and on to the pool deck.. (I live in a one floor garage apartment)..very convenient..

Also,they think that, with heat,they need more then they would use when it's cooler because of bacteria. I have been swimming for most of my life,and the best thing I've found for my hair is a leave in treatment called Infusium(I think that's how it's spelled).

I always thought it was all the old folks peeing in it. But, really, tis the heat in summer. No cap then, just a treatment after?
