Five years ago, my father passed away from atherosclerosis, brought on by daily cigarette smoking. Next week, I'm flying back east to celebrate my mother's 84th birthday. On Saturday I'm taking her to the Celtic Fling at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire.
