do guys lie and say they have no kids and once you get them to speak you find out they have them? I mean that is really going to turn off anyone like me who genuinely wants none and it's going to keep away single mothers who might otherwise be interested?

From what I've seen of your posts, you seem to have more of an impulsive decision issue than really lack of common sense. You seem to be working on it though, and hopefully it's getting better.
I mean, you know enough not to fall for someone claiming to be out of the country and falling in love with you on the 2nd message... Right? :P |

There are a lot of people who are less than forthcoming. It's that thing about being vulnerable opens you up to being hurt. And then there is that thing about hiding what you are really like because you don't have the cahones to own your own decisions.
You get back what you put out there, so I figure the ones who are not forthright, and those that are down right deceptive, will get it all right back at them someday.
