HP makes like fifty different models of the Touchsmart 610. I need a more specific model number to pull up the specs to help. It will be something like HP Touchsmart 610-1000za

I'm not much of a gamer, but looking online there seems to be different versions of this, from i3 to i7 processors, though most reviews accept that its video card is its weakest part.
See what specs the game recommends and also try setting it up for medium detail on your HP. Check the spec of your pc as it may be possible to increase RAM, (not sure how much this would help), and even add or upgrade the video card. For more details look at the link below which seems to be a good review, though he seems to have a top-end spec machine. Another option is to maybe see about investing in a game console, like xbox or ps3, easier said than done these days though... http://h20435.www2.hp.com/t5/The-Next-Bench-Blog/The-New-HP-TouchSmart-610-Touching-Multimedia/ba-p/61463 |

Looks like you have integrated graphics, so I'd recommend researching one to fit as you have a slot for one, according to the specs listed on the following link, though do check what your own hp states in device manager..

The weakest link in your system is the intel graphics. It is possible to install a MXM graphics card in your system to boost gaming performance but it requires you to take the whole machine apart from what I understand. I'd take it to a computer shop and see what video card they recommend for this system. HP says power consumption of the card can't exceed 35w

6GB-8GB RAM, or more would be better for gaming. That would probably be the cheapest and easiest thing to help improve performance.
Also, make sure you're not running it too hot and it has ventilation to "breath". |

More ram is normally good advise but in your case I don't think it will make much of a difference since your graphics card is the major bottleneck in your computer for gaming.
Only thing you can do is mess with the quality settings in the game itself to speed things up a bit. Lower the resolution and quality settings and see if that makes your games playable I'd take it in to a computer shop and have them quote you the cost to install a graphics card and make your decision then |
