The timer just rang indicating I can go do a second coat of paint on this one section. Hinges and pulls installed where I could do so. Happy dance! Happy dance! Happy dance!

FINALLY! After 3 unsuccessful "refinishing" attempts, I've finally got the sink base 100% done and looking beautiful!
The other base cabinets will have hardware tomorrow and then I'm on to the wall cabinets, heading into the home stretch. The new floor will also be down by next weekend...I'm on a MISSION! |

My kiddo just took down all the wall cabinet doors for me, so I can do those tomorrow and WRAP UP THIS LONG, LONG PROJECT! Yay! I think Carol and I BOTH outdid you last night! What's up with THAT?

My son sent me a text just after midnight to ask if he should leave the door unlocked for me. Of course, I had a key...it was really his way of checking to see if I was okay. Haha! Too funny but totally sweet. Carol's daughter joined us...she had killer shoes and can shoot pool like a shark. Fun time! |
