Since I dont have a band right now,
I want to do what Audrey does, and sing along with some YouTube Kereoke, and then be able to post them on my channel. I miss the music! Only, I cant find ANYWHERE a step by step tutorial on how its done, and Audrey is M.I.A. I have a webcam with a build in microphone. I guess what I need is either directions how to do it, or a link that will lead me to directions on how to do it. I did find one tutorial in Japanese, and another one with no talking, so im not sure how im suppose to learn with those? |

Have you tried doing a search for the music video you and putting Kereoke at the end? Example, No Doubt Don't Speak YouTube Kereoke or something like that, or maybe even the instrumental versions of songs?
If you want the lyics as well, you could look them up and use Windows Live Movie Maker (comes with Windows 7) to add the lyrics to the instrumental version of the song. |

I'll take a crack at it
To get the audio backing track from a YouTube video, copy the url address of the YouTube video you want and paste it to this site http://www.listentoyoutube.com/ This will output a mp3 file for you to use. An alternative to using YouTubes for backing tracks is using a vocal remover program on songs that you have. Here is one that's free through their website. You upload the song you want the vocals removed from and then download the track with the vocals removed http://www.vocalremover.net/ Now that you have a backing track, you need a program to record audio, and video if you are wanting to use your webcam. I've never used this program so I don't know how good it is. It's called Webcam Video Capture. http://download.cnet.com/Webcam-Video-Capture/3000-13633_4-10671720.html Now, play your backing track through headphones or earplugs and use the Webcam Video Capture program to record your voice and webcam. Once you output the video file this program creates, use Windows Movie Maker which is a free program that should already be installed on your computer. Use Windows Movie Maker to line up the original backing track and your video you created of you singing. Output that and upload to YouTube. All there is to it |

Actually, don't download that Webcam capture software. Apparently all it does is screencapture and audio but won't record your webcam. Misleading name
I'll see if I can find another program |

Alright, I found one

I dont want to be seen just heard,
and YouTube has tons of great kereoke songs, that I can sing to. I suggested the webcam just for the microphone. I guess Audrey is too busy to help me. I was never too busy, typical. |

So, you're able to find the videos you want, and you just want to record your voice on it?
If so, you can get a free audio program to record your voice, and use Windows movies maker to add the audio of your voice in the video. Now, to get the video, you will need a downloader and a flv to avi converter. Then you just download the flvs you want, convert them to avi, and open them in movie maker, add in your audio file, and save it as your video. |

I'm sure there's a solution. Maybe just take a break from it and get back to it. I'm sure you'll find something that works for you.
