I decided what I want. No not a bootie call. No not free dinners. No for sure not an engagement ring. I want some guy to have an internet romance with that may or may not turn into anything. Someone to email and chat with and maybe skype (non sexual). Just someone to have a little internet love affair with. I have my little apartment with Cheerio (the rat), Marilyn and Monroe the goldfish and Ed the plant. I just want a special guy friend. Also I would like more girlfriends as in girls who are friends to talk to. I get lonely. I am not saying that this guy or guys will never ever be anything but that is what I want right now. A little romance a little ego building, etc.

Nothing wrong with that at all. The thing is it will be difficult to find.

Asexual romance is not a concept most are familiar with. They seem to have a difficult enough time just trying to grasp asexuality.

Also, internet relationships are pretty much LDRs, which many find very difficult to maintain.

I certainly understand loneliness, but why not try to find these people in real life?

After your recent adventure I think it is good you take some time off to reflect.

I think you need to take some time for YOU. I don't think you should jump back into a relationship off of the computer. Why don't you find some friends and start going out and try meeting guys that way? I have found that you have better luck meeting them in person and then you can actually get a better feeling on if they are being honest or not. Face to face is so much better...if you see a red flag, then run.
Your life should not be sitting at home on the computer being in a relationship or friendship and never meeting someone in your area. There are so many single men everywhere...get out and MINGLE!!!!!
