Any suggestions on something original to give your mom for Mother's Day????

Just make sure you tell her you love her.

The best gift my kids could give me is their time. That listening to me, shareing with me, haveing faith that no matter what happens in their lives that I will still love them even if I don't like every choice or situation they get themselves into. That there is nothing; not illness, failure, boredom, sillyness, or successes that them telling me about is unwelcome. When my kids talk to me it is like the most beautiful music in the world.

And now when they listen to me it is like talking to a perfect friend and I hope to tell them over and over what they need to hear most. Mainly that they are the light of my life. Which I think is what most parents want a chance to say even if they sometimes stumble through it.

It depends on what she is in to.

Tea drinker? A tea pot, two new cups and some flavored tea, with a book.

A gardner? A birdhouse, some funky bright gardening gloves and set of row markers.

A beach lover? A kid beach pail with sunblock and a pretty parasol.

A margareta lover? A set of margareta glasses, rimming salt and some of her favorite salsa and a bright serving tray.

Or how about a spa kit. Bath salts, lotion, fluffy slippers and a candle in a pretty basket.

My Daughter suprised me with a new BBQ. I was really shocked. Now I have to figure out how to use it without blowing myself up or setting everything on fire.

the best gift from a child to their mother is a hug and the words i love u yr the best mum in the world... My gift to my mother was a scrapbook of me n kids that we made ourselves for her to display n beautiful memories... She hasn't stopped crying yet....
The simple things that come from the heart n not wallet is all a mother loves...
My kids ask ppl if they can have flowers from their garden cause they love me so much and i deserve the best... Ppl love my kids for that...

Thanks for the great ideas. My son and I have decided to take her to the beach tomorrow, and then out to dinner. My son painted her a picture on canvas, and I framed it, and we made her a special card.

My kids send me and my Mum out for dinner every year, I have 6 so they figure its a good time for us to have peace and quiet together.

A mom appreciates anything you give her or do for her. It's the fact that you remembered her at all that becomes the biggest blessing! That's part of what makes her great .. being selfless

I love anything with my kids or grands photos on it. I have gotten into making the photo quilts and they are so popular I will have projects until I am 99 lol.

Boo Hiss to Pro Flowers. My son ordered a live plant to be sent and they flubber the delivery twice now. He was so upset bevause he sent them thinking that he was also stepping in for my Dad since he is/was in hospice. He stayed awake all day Saturday and Sunday anticipateing the surpride he anticipated they had cooked up togeter being delivered. Now he passed away Tuesday evening it doesn't matter if they send a truck load he won't see his money worth.
