Wow! What a great movie! Lots of humor, adventure, good plot and big budget on the special effects. It has one of the funniest scenes I have ever enjoyed. Everyone in the theater rolled.
About six seats away, a kid talked out loud through the whole movie. The parents could have cared less. Does that bother you? Seems awfully rude to me. |

AVENGERs is now one of my fav movies...i loved it...i was perfect mixture of action,humor..a bit romance and lots of money value......
i loved it....good plot and cinematography...i saw first seat first show... well if a child could have annoyed me almost six seats away..i would surely try to stop him...by non violence surely!!!!! |

I would drug his drink and/or get my money back. Theaters are no place for talking or kids with discipline problems. Where are trap floors when you need them.
Excuse me sir, I'm sure this gag won't hurt the little one for long. Here, let me help tie it for you. Growing up no one had to force polite policies. It was the excepted rule. Maybe I was an exceptional kid, but I don't think so. If your child is noisy take them outside instead of making others suffer. I apperiate it when people shhish others in theaters. |

Yes, it bothers me because it is rude...How old was the kid?...I'm guessing about two years older than his parents...Am I close Joe?... |

Got gifted a couple of gold class tickets for Xmas that i haven't used as yet, and i keep hearing good reviews about The Avengers, which is tempting me to use those tickets :) Ummm...tis most inconsiderate of the parents allowing that to happen, but then again...a movie theatre is a public place, and as much as you'd like to put a muzzle on the little buggar...it's apparently frowned upon |

I get up and tell the parent(s) that I paid for the movie too and their brat needs to be quiet. They usually leave. If they don't, I go get an employee and they are told to leave. I have no respect for those who don't provide basic respect to others and have no qualms telling them off, as politely as I can manage.
I'm hoping to see the movie this week! |

Yes, that is extremely rude. This is part of why I don't go to the mainstream cinemas anymore- rude people, of all ages. Yapping, texting, kicking seats.

It's extremely rude..and uncalled for. If the children act like that in public, what dose it say for their home life? I know I wouldn't be a visitor in their home.
Movie tickets are quite expensive for some..drinks and popcorn or candy are outrageous..Who wants to shell out that kind of money to listen to some kids make noise? |

The child made no effort to whisper or even speak softly. They were two rows behind me and about four seats across and I could still hear every word over the movie. I shush at about a three seat radius. I didn't look that closely but I'd guess the parents were around thirty. |

These tickets were fourteen dollars. That seems pretty high but I don't go often so I don't know the range. I did notice a change in this showing from the last time I went. There was a screen just before the show that instructed everyone to turn their phones on silent and that if they had to answer it, they had to go to the lobby. ANYONE TEXTING DURING THE MOVIE WAS EVICTED FROM THE THEATER! Last time I went to the movies people were texting constantly. I noticed NONE at this show. |

I went to see The Avengers, too; and there was a group of 6 -8 year old boys a few seats over talking, too. If they had been closer, I would turn around and calmly ask them to please be quiet.Kids that age will talk like that if given the opportunity - It's the parents' job to shush them as required! My 6 year old would not be allowed to interrupt others' experience, that's for sure. |

That would have been enough for me to go speak to the manager and let them deal with the annoying kid. I don't have patience for that kind of thing at the movies. That being said, I'm going to see the Avengers tomorrow! |

Saw it in IMAX 3D. Didn't hear a peep from anyone through the entire film. I thought it was alright. I didn't really like the "Thor" film & it had a lot of ties in to that so...yeah. Other than that is was pretty fun. Cool fx, awesome sound, good humor, good music. And they finally got "The Hulk" right with this film.

For that amount the actors should be there in person feeding me popcorn. |

I think IMAX is a different kind of audience, people that actually go to watch a movie and not talk. |

$14 is really expensive for a movie ticket. Good thing I'm going on $6 movie night.

I won't pay ticket prices unless it's something epic like with a lot of awesome fx and sound. And, I actually did get a free ticket because I complained about a group of high school girls talking through the entire film of the remake of "The Omen" (saw it in the theater 06/06/06...haha). |

I'm not a fan of The Omen remake, BUT that was a bit of brilliance on the studio's part. I think the makers of are trying to get the Mother's Day remake released on Mother's Day. |

I'm a big Ed Norton fan so I was disappointed they didn't bring him back. The new Hulk was good but Bruce Banner was the dullest character to me. I also liked Thor so the connections worked well. The Hulk/Loki scene was hilarious! To each their own. |
