Saw it in IMAX 3D. Didn't hear a peep from anyone through the entire film. I thought it was alright. I didn't really like the "Thor" film & it had a lot of ties in to that so...yeah. Other than that is was pretty fun. Cool fx, awesome sound, good humor, good music. And they finally got "The Hulk" right with this film.

You seem to be in the minority as most loved the film.

I'm a big Ed Norton fan so I was disappointed they didn't bring him back. The new Hulk was good but Bruce Banner was the dullest character to me.

I also liked Thor so the connections worked well. The Hulk/Loki scene was hilarious!

To each their own.happy

Someone must have liked the new Bruce Banner- Mark Ruffalo as he's been signed to a 6 picture deal playing the part haha.

I have nothing against the guy. I just happen to be an Ed Norton fan. This movie has some high dollar/big draw actors so Ed might not have fit into the budget. Who knows? It's a great movie.

Haven't seen The Avengers yet, but I do like Norton as Banner.

Yes, that is extremely rude. This is part of why I don't go to the mainstream cinemas anymore- rude people, of all ages. Yapping, texting, kicking seats.

Yeah I'm the same. Texting is pure evil.

Yeah I'm the same. Texting is pure evil.

I don't know about pure evil but it is really distracting to have bright lights going off all around and in front of you in a darkened theater.

Very rude and inconsiderate Joe. I would've told the parents I was getting the manager if they wouldn't let me enjoy my tickets!

I actually expected the people closer to handle it, which didn't happen. It is a large theater and I wasn't going to head off looking for a manager and miss the movie. I wasn't sure the manager would do anything anyway.

Similar thing happened to me once in Alaska. A woman and her two kids had loud open arguments about everything during the movie just as if they were still at home. I got up and walked over to her and explained that "they were not at home" and I didn't want to listen to their arguments during the movie.

She calmed down a bit. The kids quieted down quite a bit. But she still spoke to them loudly every now and then just to prove she could.

I saw the Avengers last night. Even without seeing the previous movies except for Ironman, I really enjoyed it. Lots of fun. I thought Mark Ruffalo made a completely awesome Hulk.

Marvel has come up with a winning formula. The personalities of the characters "feed" certain parts of the plot so to really "get it" you might want to go back and see the earlier movies which makes Marvel (and Disney) a few more bucks.

The character development of Thor and Loki are set up in Thor, which I liked a lot.

Ed Norton played Hulk before and set up the conditions where Hulk can be a good guy or a bad guy, depending upon circumstances. The scene in this movie where he attacks Natasha didn't seem to follow the character development but was a good scene anyway. The Hulk generally does not smash women.

I would think if you liked this movie you would like the ones that lead up to it too. It's like a big soap opera.

I will go back and watch Captain America and Thor. Since I liked Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, I'll probably skip the previous Hulk movie.

Honestly, it was just a fun movie to watch. I'm not a huge comic book fan, so I'm not all too concerned with all the back story. But, I liked the Captain America character and have been told I'll like the movie. I've heard a lot of mixed reviews on Thor, but I'll probably check that out as well.

The Hulk attacks women when he's mad at them and he was mad in that scene. You are right, that the Hulk's generally good nature will cause him to stop fighting to protect innocent women and children.

Not a huge comic book movie fan, but thought it was awesome! Saw it in 3D and it looked so freakin' cool.

Joss Whedon really came through with the goods and Mark Ruffalo is the best big screen Hulk, period. Dunno why they didn't do it like this in the first place. His Bruce Banner actually reminded me of Bill Bixby's Banner from the 70s TV series. Glad Ruffalo's signed a 6 picture deal to play Banner / Hulk.

Can't wait for Avenger 2 ;)

Joss Whedon was a stroke of genius. His humor has been brilliant for years and they finally let it shine. I heard he is going to get the next one too. I hope so.

After so many postponements, I finally got to see this and it was absolutely fantastic. Great film. Loved it bigsmile Only neg, is that I've seen better 3D films.

3D gives me a headache, so I usually stay away from it.

I watched in 3D. I was thinking about going back and watching the non-3D version. I didn't think the movie "needed" 3D but it adds "something".

Wow! What a great movie! Lots of humor, adventure, good plot and big budget on the special effects. It has one of the funniest scenes I have ever enjoyed. Everyone in the theater rolled.

About six seats away, a kid talked out loud through the whole movie. The parents could have cared less.

Does that bother you? Seems awfully rude to me.

Yes. It's extremely rude! The parents should be smart enough to tell their kid to "Shut the hell up!"

HOWEVER I can offer you 2 tips.

1. Go late at night. Around 9 when the kids wont be there. (Heard that one on the radio, don't know if it works)

2. Comment to your friend who your seeing the movie with that kids should shut up so others can enjoy the movie. The parents may overhear you and do something about their kid.
