Disappointed. My best friend worships me and it can be creepy.

My man loves me, that is enough. could never ever live up to being worshipped.

Worship is an interesting descriptive of putting somebody up on a pedestal, because that is what whorship sounds like to me....and i'm not sure i would be entirely comfortable with that at all. What if i should disappoint and he doesn't catch me when i fall off?

I don't really care for that kind of treatment. I don't encourage a low self esteem person. I want the person to value themselves just as much.

However you wish to define worship in this context, but why would one be considered weak or to have low self esteem to worship someone they love and adore?

One of my exs called me Princess and put me "on a pedestal". It annoyed me all to heck. My nicknames are Terri the Terrible, Terrible Lyn and Teresa the Terrible for good reason.

Worship is an act of religious devotion usually directed towards a deity but as for worshiping a person like a God i think is kind of crazy people did it for years with Elvis :) but myself no i would never ever want to be worshiped i don't mind people looking up to me as in asking me for advice or want to be like me in a way humble caring person way or of good manners or in a respectful way or even in a toughness way but as for worship never i leave that for People who love and Worship God the Almighty :)cheers

Since most of my boyfriends are bilingual and immigrants. I would have to say most of them would break into "American woman.......stay away from me.....American woman.........." but then again I am a Kravitz fan. Or "Evil Woman" You pick.

The ceremonies, prayers, or other religious forms by which this love is expressed To perform an act of worship to a god To participate in religious rites of worship..........see yes it would be kind of creepy its as if the person is obsessed with you and think your a god with powers or treat you like a idol of course what the bible says Jeremiah 25:6 Do not go after other gods to serve and worship them ...so i think a lot people when you use the word worshiping thinks about gods or idols to worship is wrong and a human worshiping is same as you said not in a religious what other ways are there? as a idol?a sacred object? they all go back to same as like a human god right? but have a good day cheers :)
