Do people fall in love for the beauty of the person or for inside of the person?

depends on how shallow that person is

I have to "know" a person to feel love.

People often confuse lust for love. What's on the inside often times makes one even more attractive on the outside to me. Although, outside appearance is all we have to go by at first, what's on the inside is what's more important.

I'd much rather be in love with one who is an 8 on the outside and a 10 on the inside, than with one who is a 10 on the outside and a 1 on the inside.

I think the physical appearance is what attracts people to each other, but the inside is what causes a person to either fall in love with that person or not.

If you only love the outside you are in trouble. My ex after 14 years told me I wasn't pretty anymore and it sucked. So I don;t want to be liked because of the outside, as looking ok doesnt last everyone gets old eventually

but hopefully you are attracted to the outside but love the inside.

That's like saying what makes a donut tasty. I mean sure the maple bar looks better than the powdered raspberry filled but if you bite into them, the maple bar is not near as interesting as the raspberry. No, I am not high but I think I spent too much time with stoner heavy metal guys in high school. If I start babbling about if you spit in the ocean on one side, does it rise that much more on the other side, let me know.

Both.....People fall in love for a variety of reasons, some are right, some are wrong.....We fall in love with people we find attractive....We fall in love with people who find us attractive....When we love someone, in our eyes they are beautiful inside and out....Tammy is right, the outside is "usually" what creates the initial attraction which may or may not lead to falling in love...You can also fall in love with a person you are not physically attracted to if you are in a situation where you have the opportunity to get to know the person on the inside...Like Gostrider said, it's the beauty on the inside that makes the outside beautiful...

People are attracted to each other for different reasons. If i don't feel some sort of attraction towards him, then i might aswell quit while I'm ahead.

depends what the person is looking for myself i go for a persons heart cause looks fade anyways :) but it helps to in making love both :)cheers
