at what age do you think people stop following trends?
do you still keep up with what's new and hip?
although defining what's new is a bit of conundrum considering so much stuff comes back around.
for example the off the shoulder shirts and leggings.

Well, black tee's were in style for a while....but I was wearin then long before they came in style.
Leather has always been ...In style, so I guess that would be my only trend vice!!!

If you are buying what is in the stores today..you are a victim of trends!
I do buy what is the trend. Not everything is what is trendy today..I do have to like the item or I refuse to buy it just because it's in style.
I like to wear sun dresses and jeans a lot. Baby doll shirts are no longer in and I always look forward to them coming back.
My stuff has to be comfortable or it will not join my body.

I just wear wranglers. Once I graduate I will have to follow style and wear business suits so I'm relaxing while I can.

I wouldn't consider leather to be a trend. It just....IS. lol

Leather fringe jackets (on hippies anyways) was a trend so I did follow one.

I'm not quite a fashionista, but I do love clothes! I've been sewing since I was 10 and designing clothes that long. i don't always get to make my visions, so I enjoy what the shops have to offer. I grew up in the 80's- that is a decade of fashion I would rather forget! However, I got caught by surprise the other day when I was in a department store and they had pink denim with black leopard print stretch jeans and I wanted to buy them!!!! lmao at myself.

Usually I wear track suits and yoga gear to work because I teach dance. Off hours, I love my jeans. :) I' also a girlie-girl and love to dress up to go out. Just give me an excuse!

Because I don't know what they are. I don't pay attention to that stuff. It doesn't matter. Wear what you want, wear what you like, other people will let some whackjob in France tell them that orange and pink open-toed shoes are all the rage for summer, but it doesn't matter.

I just buy stuff that appeals to me, for whatever reason. Sometimes it's just the color of the thing.

I think people finally stop following trends when they die. Then again, if there's life beyond death, I'm sure there are also trends that they will follow as well.

As for me, I can walk into a store for one shirt, and I'll come out for hours later with a plain boring shirt I don't like. I can't shop for clothes on my own.

I like my older sisters sense of style, so I always liked when she bought me clothes. I hate getting clothes from anyone else though.

On occasion I will buy something trendy but it has to be something I'm comfortable in and look nice in.. I've always had my own style and wear what I like.. For a long time now I have been into the Native American/southwestern jewelry.. I wear it most of the time, everywhere..I just like it..lol

I just wear a shirt and trousers, I don't care for fashion, or brand names. Fashion is more of a ladies thing anyway.

I think in Elementary and Junior High I followed some trends, though back when bell bottoms were in I hated them and my mom would always straighten the legs for me.

Never got into tie-dye, or parachute pants when those were fads.. I rarely wear jeans, but I did do the whole hole in the knees when that trend was popular.

I think in high school is when I stopped following. People are amazed when they find out I listen to 80's goth and watch horror flicks because I don't dress in black, have zero tattoos or piercings.

In high school you had to keep up with the trend, everyone made fun of you for not wearing the Nike or what ever. But now at 29 i really don't care for any of that. Jeans and t shirts any brand, most of it from walmart.
