What do y'all think of creatin powder? I've heard good things about it, but not from anyone i know. (mostly ads)

Avoid all supplements like the plague. Just go with a healthy diet
and good training routine. If you do it right you will build fast enough without any supplements. "So many weights and so little time..." |

im a personal trainer and the only sups i would advise are protien powders and maybe glutamine

I take lots of supplements, but usually just things my body doesn't get enough of for one reason for another. Like magnesium and vitamin D3. I also take a daily multivitamin, in case my diet is low in something. CoQ10, krill oil, R-ALA and a good probiotic are all part of my daily regiment.
As for creatin, eat more red meat and fish and you'll get plenty. |

It is more important to just train well and there just is no point in wasting money and time on supplements which are not really necessary. |

First off, lift with the hernia.
Secondly, I don't care what kinda crap you dump into your system....None of it is gonna matter if you got a body that burns every thing you pour in. Some people beef up...and when they stop..they get fat. Some people are just genetically challenged. You would have better luck trying to get taller. My experiences with all the bodybuilder supplements...is they cause acne from all the crap that the body tries to reject. My Dad took that stuff till he was 68 and sure he could bench 380....he always had horrible acne. Now he has given it up, dropped some mass (had two hips and two shoulders replaced)...he got skin like a virgin. I myself like my tapeworms...I eat like a fat man at a buffet and couldn't gain a pound if you pointed a gun at me. |

They're too expensive and overrated.Eat alot of carbs(pastas,breads etc.)Protein is key also.
And most important is a disciplined workout regimen. Practice breeds results.Short cuts(suppliments) and slacking will only breed failure in the long run. |

I have some and it says just to mix it with water. It smells like koolaid. I will try some and see what it tastes like. I can't remember when I got it. It says that test subjects gained over 4X the muscle. mmmmmm. Of course I'm not lifting weights, I'm just doing some light yoga. |

I have used creatine before with great results. It does give you extra strength to power through heavier lifts. The bad thing is I have a medical condition that it makes flare up so I don't take it anymore. There is nothing wrong with supplements if you know how to use them properly.
